Laguna College of Business and Arts

Student researchers from Laguna College of Business and Arts (LCBA) participated in the 5th Consortium of the South (CotS) Student Research Congress. Anchored on the theme, “Advancing Ethical, Multidisciplinary, and Globally Engaged Research in Higher Education,” the event featured studies across various academic disciplines from LCBA along with other institutions.

The delegation included representatives from the Department of Engineering and Computer Studies (DECS), the Department of Arts and Sciences (DAS), and the Department of Teacher Education (DTE).

Among the presented titles from LCBA was "AI-DUKADO: AI-Assisted Learning Management System," a technological framework study co-presented by Lina Ignacio and Mark Lawrence Gonzales from DECS. Alongside this, student delegates from DAS and DTE presented their respective research studies, contributing to the diverse academic showcase.

The congress provided a platform for a multidisciplinary approach, combining presentations on educational technology, behavioral sciences, and pedagogy.

The event concluded the thesis presentations for the participating LCBA student researchers, highlighting the institution's collaborative involvement in regional academic research alongside the other participating institutions.
