Dear All.

Good Day,

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a time to honor survivors, remember those we've lost, and take action through education and early detection.
Breast cancer is the most common cancer among women worldwide—but when detected early, it’s highly treatable. That’s why awareness is so important.
💡 Know the Signs and Symptoms:
While symptoms can vary, here are some common ones to watch for:
A new lump in the breast or underarm
Swelling or thickening in part of the breast
Dimpling or irritation of breast skin
Redness or flaky skin in the ni**le area
Ni**le discharge (other than breast milk), including blood
Any change in the size or shape of the breast
Pain in any area of the breast
If you notice any of these changes, don’t wait—schedule a check-up with your healthcare provider.
🩺 Early Detection Saves Lives
Regular self-exams, clinical breast exams, and mammograms are key tools in catching breast cancer early. Encourage your loved ones to stay informed and proactive.
Let’s stand together in support, education, and hope. Wear pink, share this message, and help spread awareness.
Please take a few moments to go through the attached poster and share it with your family, household members, and colleagues.

Dear All,

Good day.

Influenza (commonly known as the flu) is a contagious respiratory illness caused by influenza viruses. It can cause mild to severe illness, and in some cases, may lead to serious health complications. To help prevent the spread of influenza in our community, we encourage everyone to observe the following preventive measures:
Practice Proper Hygiene
Wash hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds.
Use alcohol-based hand sanitizers when soap and water are not available.
Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your elbow when coughing or sneezing.
Stay Healthy
Eat a balanced diet, exercise regularly, and get adequate rest.
Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
Strengthen your immune system with vitamins as advised by your healthcare provider.
Get Vaccinated
Annual flu vaccination is strongly recommended as the most effective way to prevent influenza and its complications.
Monitor for Symptoms
Be alert for flu symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, fatigue, and headache.
If you are sick, stay at home to avoid infecting others. Seek medical advice if symptoms worsen.
Maintain Clean Surroundings
Regularly disinfect commonly touched surfaces such as doorknobs, keyboards, and shared equipment.

To help keep everyone informed and protected, we are sharing an INFLUENZA ( TRANGKASO) AWARENESS POSTER containing key information on:

Symptoms
Transmission
Prevention and Treatment
Please take a few moments to go through the attached poster and share it with your family, household members, and colleagues.

Your cooperation in observing these preventive practices is vital to ensuring the health and safety of everyone in our community. Let us all work together to stop the spread of influenza

For everyone's safety, if you're feeling ill, please stay home and contact Health Services Department

Hi Students!

Good day,

In line with the current health issue about the Monkeypox Disease, we are issuing this health advisory for everyone's information.

While the risk to the general public remains low, it is important to stay informed and take preventive steps to reduce exposure.

What is Monkeypox?

Monkeypox is a rare but potentially serious viral illness. Common symptoms include fever, rash, headache, muscle aches, swollen lymph nodes, and fatigue. The virus spreads through close, prolonged contact with an infected person, contaminated materials, or respiratory droplets.

Recommended Precautions:

1. Wash hands regularly with soap and water or use hand sanitizer.
2. Avoid close physical contact with anyone showing symptoms.
3. Do not share bedding, clothing, or personal items.
4. Wear a mask if in close contact with a potentially infected individual.

Seek medical attention if you develop symptoms.
We encourage everyone to stay vigilant and prioritize their health.
Stay Safe Lyceans and Cabrinians! :)
