SCHOOL-WIDE MISTING, FUMIGATION, AND DISINFECTION ACTIVITY
As part of our unwavering commitment to providing a safe, clean, and healthy learning environment, St. John Colleges successfully conducted a School-Wide Misting, Fumigation, and Disinfection Activity on August 1, 2026, in compliance with the health and safety guidelines of the Department of Education (DepEd) and in partnership with the Calamba City Health Office.
The activity officially commenced at 7:00 A.M., with the assistance of the City Health Office Disinfection Team, who thoroughly disinfected all school buildings, classrooms, laboratories, offices, rooms, hallways, surrounding premises, and the entire school grounds. The fumigation and misting process lasted for approximately two (2) hours, after which the Maintenance Department conducted a comprehensive cleaning of all facilities following the prescribed health and safety protocols.
The operation covered all major campus buildings, including:

We are pleased to report that no major issues were encountered during the activity. The school premises remain clean, well-maintained, free from stagnant water, and regularly monitored by the Maintenance Department to help prevent mosquito breeding and the spread of vector-borne diseases.
Moving forward, St. John Colleges will continue to strengthen its health and safety initiatives by conducting regular misting, fumigation, and disinfection activities, sustaining environmental sanitation, and working closely with the Calamba City Health Office to ensure the protection and well-being of our students, faculty, staff, parents, and the entire Johnian community.
