📣 QAPDO Participated in Scientific Session on Translating Extension to Research Publication

The Quality Assurance, Planning, and Development Office (QAPDO), together with Cash-for-Work and SPES volunteers, participated in the Scientific Session organized by Division I (Governmental, Educational, and International Policies) of the National Research Council of the Philippines (NRCP) held on July 23, 2025, from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. via Zoom.

The session, titled "Community of Praxis: Translating Extension to Research Publication and Dissemination," was facilitated by Dr. Arlyne C. Marasigan, Professor of Educational Management and Leadership at the Philippine Normal University.

Participants gained valuable insights on how extension initiatives can be transformed into publishable research and widely disseminated scholarly outputs. The session also highlighted the significance of collaboration, cooperation, and co-creation as vital elements from project implementation to publication.

For QAPDO, attending this session was essential in strengthening its role in guiding evidence-based planning, supporting academic research culture, and enhancing institutional visibility through research dissemination. It reinforced the Office’s commitment to quality, relevance, and innovation in both planning and extension-related initiatives.
