The day focused on immersing into the local way of life and exploring the rich heritage of this beautiful seaside village. The highlight of the community visit was learning the 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐃𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐅𝐢𝐬𝐡, a vital livelihood and culinary staple for the locals. Students got a firsthand look at the intricate, time-honored processing methods passed down through generations.

The delegation also enjoyed a scenic sightseeing boat ride through the𝐥𝐮𝐬𝐡 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐓𝐮𝐧𝐧𝐞𝐥, 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐋𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, and stopped by Bird Island. To wrap up the adventure, everyone treated their tastebuds to authentic local flavors, trying traditional Pattani sweets like “Madu Gatong” right in the heart of the community!

Day 7 took LPU-Laguna students and their foreign delegates on a beautiful cultural journey to Pattani! The delegation visited the renowned 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬𝐬 𝐆𝐚𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐕𝐚𝐝𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐚 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐞𝐬, where they immersed themselves in the rich heritage of Southern Thailand.

The highlight of the day was a hands-on 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐤 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐖𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩 at the institute's Craft Studio. Everyone got to unleash their creativity, learning the intricate, traditional techniques of coloring gorgeous batik patterns and making their own vibrant masterpieces. It was an unforgettable day filled with art, history, and deep cultural connections!

Day 6 brought another exciting day in Songkhla as LPU-Laguna students and their foreign delegates visited the 𝐓𝐞𝐩𝐲𝐚 𝐆𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 to explore the beautiful concept of the Sufficiency Economy Philosophy. The group got a hands-on look at sustainable living through fun, local product processing stations where they learned to 𝐦𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦 𝐒𝐮𝐠𝐚𝐫 (Toddy Palm Dessert), eco-friendly soap, and dishwashing liquid.

The highlights continued with a scenic tram ride along the community’s agricultural tourism route! They wrapped up the day at the 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐥 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐩 to support local artisans and pick up some unique community-made souvenirs.

Day 5 was dedicated to an 𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐱𝐜𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐢𝐧 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐡𝐥𝐚, where LPU-Laguna students, together with foreign delegates, engaged in a comprehensive 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐲 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐭 focused on the region's unique Tourist spots. The group explored the sustainable production of 𝐓𝐡𝐫𝐞𝐞-𝐖𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐒𝐞𝐚 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐬 (𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐢) and the local 𝐌𝐚-𝐦𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐚𝐨 (𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨), discovering how Songkhla’s specific environment shapes these world-class local products.

The session transitioned into𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐩𝐬, starting with 𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐨 𝐅𝐮𝐧, where participants crafted mango-based mocktails and decorated ripe mango cakes. This was followed by a 𝐓𝐢𝐞-𝐝𝐲𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐭𝐲, utilizing natural pigments from mango leaves and peels to create unique, handcrafted handkerchiefs. To cap off the excursion, the delegation visited the iconic 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐚 𝐁𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐯𝐢𝐛𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐡𝐥𝐚 𝐍𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐤𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐒𝐭𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤𝐞𝐭, further deepening their appreciation for Thai heritage and local commerce.

The morning began with a hands-on workshop on𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐌𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐚𝐠𝐞, where students mastered therapeutic techniques specifically designed for relieving neck and shoulder pain, gaining a deeper understanding of Thailand's holistic approach to wellness.

The program transitioned into the 𝐏𝐒𝐔 𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐰𝐜𝐚𝐬𝐞 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐬, a premier exhibition highlighting the sophistication of Southern Thai flavors and modern culinary innovation. This experience allowed the LPU-Laguna delegation to observe expert demonstrations and engage with the intricate techniques that define the region's hospitality standards. The program featured an insightful session on "𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐓𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞 𝐅𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐀𝐬𝐢𝐚𝐧 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦𝐲𝐫𝐚 𝐏𝐚𝐥𝐦," led by expert speakers who detailed the cultural and ecological significance of the palm in the region.

LPU-Laguna students have officially arrived in Hat Yai, Thailand, for the start of the PSU-AUN Summer Camp Program! The first two days focused on a smooth transition and a comprehensive orientation to the 𝐏𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐤𝐥𝐚 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐌𝐨𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦.

The itinerary featured an energetic campus-wide rally and an insightful keynote session, "𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐲 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 & 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐭𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝." This lecture provided a profound look into how the region’s diverse history continues to shape its unique culinary and social landscape.

It is a privilege to represent our university in this international arena. A significant highlight has been the opportunity to collaborate with fellow Filipino delegates, strengthening our national ties as we engage with the broader ASEAN community. 🇵🇭🤝🇹🇭

The final day of the program was a time for reflection and celebration. The 21 LPU Laguna delegates participated in a closing session to share their insights, followed by the formal 𝐩𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐜𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐢𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐬 and a group photo to commemorate their journey .

The program officially concluded with a farewell 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢 𝐛𝐮𝐟𝐟𝐞𝐭, where students and hosts gathered for a final shared meal .Before departing for the airport, the group enjoyed some last-minute shopping at 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐮𝐦 𝐅𝐚𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐥, 𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐚𝐦🛍️.
