𝗨𝗡𝗜𝗩𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | Engineering Students Cross Into Professional Grounds

Engineering Perpetualites took a step toward professional practice as the College of Engineering held its first-ever Pinning, Vest, and Hard Hatting Ceremony on December 18, 2025, at the University Gymnasium, marking their preparation for on-the-job training.

Students from Civil, Computer, Electronics, Electrical, Industrial, and Mechanical Engineering, alongside their parents, received their pins, vests, and hard hats, symbolizing both academic completion and the support system that guided them throughout their journey.

Guest speaker Engr. Gilda A. Aquino challenged students to move beyond grades and focus on becoming engineers people can rely on, emphasizing that work immersion is a period of growth, responsibility, and self-discovery.

The apprenticeship pledge, led by Engineering Student Council Adviser Engr. Paolo A. Antazo then underlined the students’ commitment to uphold the values and principles of the engineering profession as they transition into industry practice.

Adding to the program, the College of Engineering band Amar Got Rejected performed several songs, with MAPA drawing an emotional response as students dedicated the piece to their parents.
