In celebration of the 31st Founding Anniversary of GSMSI and GSMS. Directress for Education Mrs. Helen Galong emphasized on her message that "Excellence" is not only on having high grades or trophies but more than that a holistic character development, highlighted by Integrity in actions, ​compassion in hearts and ​relentless curiosity in minds.

She also thank the alumni, current and former teachers, students and parents who took the time to share their stories ​and acknowledge the courage demonstrated by every contributor and their willingness to be vulnerable and entrust their personal GSMS experiences.

Good Samaritan Mary School Inc. and GOOD SAMARITAN MARY SCHOOL celebrated it's 31st Founding Anniversary at GSMSI Annex, Manggahan Palo alto. The celebration highlighted activities in​intellectual & strategic contests, the participants engaged in a variety of board games, demonstrating strategic thinking and sportsmanship. L​literary & creative arts competion highlighted student talent and commitment to the arts and ​recreational engagement which fun activities ensured broad participation and enhanced overall community bonding.

The success of this anniversary celebration is directly attributable to the commitment and collaboration of the entire school community. GSMS extends its deepest gratitude to the parents, teachers, and students for their enthusiastic participation and support in celebrating 31 years of the "Vision of Excellence."

Batang GSMS at batang 90's for the win! 🏆 Childhood unlocked! Parang naririnig ko 'yung bell ng school habang binabasa yung message mo Imman 😅 Tapos yung lumang building feels sa GSMS main na biglang nagka 2nd floor! Witness pala tayo sa history ng GSMS! Achievement yan! Batch 2002 mag-ingay! Kamusta naman kaya ang mga alumni na Millennial and Gen Z?(or in between, haha), minsan blurry na 'yung exact year, pero 'yung PRIDE? Solid pa rin!

GSMS 'til the very end! Cheers sa mga memories, sa kamusmusan, at sa Batch 2002 or whatever year 'yan, basta batang GSMS! Proud kami lahat sa inyo 😊

"Mula Good Sheperd to GSMS from prep to Grade 6. Tambay ng library habang naghihintay ng sundo hanggng sa ayaw ng umalis kasi nasa school p ang mga kaibigan. Mula sa lumang building lumipat at ngkaroon na kami ng 2nd floor. Mula sa kamusmusan hanggng sa mga actvities intra o extracurricular. Mula noon hanggng naun, mananatiling proud na batang GSMS. To be honest, I had a hard time trying to remember what journey I had almost 25years ago...
I was a serious student way back then. All I remember is that - I went to school to study, performed during school events, patahimikin ang maiingay at magsungit.

But then I read this quote while thinking and writing this message.

Why do I need to spend time remembering all those moment when you have the people who created those moments with you.
Yes, my classmates , my teachers, kuya guard, ate rose, of course Ma'am .

These are the people who made the journey worth it.

I never thought that my classmates will still remember me ( i don't know how will they describe me ) but I really appreciate how they tag me to call my attention and involve me in the conversation ngayon.
These are the people whom i laughed with, kasama ko natuto, kasama ko napagalitan, kasama ko naparusahan at napagsulat sa 30 sheets ng intermediate paper na "I will not do it again", kasama ko sumayaw, kumanta, tumugtog.

To all the teachers,to Ma'am Helen who taught us the good values, the subjects, on how to cook, on how to plant, paano ang magtahi, mag camp - baon namin hanggang ngayon ang lahat po ng tinuro nyo.

To all kuya guard and ate rose na nagbantay sa amin,cooked and prepared delicious snacks, kasama din to sa mga kwento na meron kami ngayon.

Sa panahon ngayon na uso ang cancel culture... I appreciate them even more. If ngayon ako nag elementary, one thing is for sure, cancelled na ako pero buti na lang hindi.
My batchmates? they're the BEST. Masaya sila sa achievement ng bawat isa. Masaya sila para sa bawat isa. They support each other. I am proud that I have these people in my life, they were with me on those days and I met them while I was in GSMS.

"I am proud that I am one of the alumni of Good Samaritan Mary School. Because of this institution I am not being successful in what I am today. Madami ako natutunan dito yung pagiging mabuting tao, magiging mapagkumbaba at may malasakit ng kapwa hindi lang sa academics ikaw gagabayin kundi kung paano ka makikisalamuha sa iba. Now that I am part of being a professional and just recently pass the Licensure Examination for Librarians masasabi ko hindi ko magiging successful kung hindi maganda ang foundation ko because of GSMS hindi ako madevelop not only in academics but also if having confidence to myself achieving my dreams. Thank you so much GSMS family for being part of what I am today. Happy foundation anniversary GSMS more blessings to come and more young ones will be able to help to achieve their dreams."
