"UP Naming Mahal."
Those words never get old, no matter how many years have passed since I sat in those halls of CFNR.
I watched this reel of the CFNR Class of 2026 testimonial rites, and one particular moment stayed with me... Marifel Balbarona's iglap-protesta, calling out the injustice woven into the very ground we studied to protect.
She said it plainly: "Hindi hiwalay ang pangangalaga sa kalikasan sa pakikibaka ng mga batayang sektor. Environmental protection has never been separate from the struggle of ordinary communities."
I felt that.
Because that's exactly what drew me to FNRG-Forestry and Natural Resources, UPLB Department of Social Forestry and Forest Governance, under DSFFG. We weren't just trained to plant trees or manage forests.
We were trained to ask harder questions:
📌Who has access to the land?
📌Who carries the weight of its scarcity?
📌Who gets left out of the systems meant to protect them?
Those questions never really left me.
It shows up now in how I homeschool my four kids.
I am teaching them that stewardship isn't just about caring for creation; it's about caring for kapwa.
It shows up in how I built STPH because I believe systems should serve people, not the other way around.
Good governance, whether over land or over an organization, always comes back to the same principle: alignment between purpose and people.
And it shows up in my faith, because the call to stewardship isn't new.
It's Genesis.
Tend the garden.
Care for one another.
Serve with justice, not just intention.
To the CFNR Class of 2026, you're graduating into a country that still needs foresters who understand roots, not just of trees, but of conflict, of poverty, of injustice.
Carry that with grace.
Carry that with courage.
UPLB will always have my heart.💘
FNRG will always be part of my formation.💘
And I pray it keeps shaping how I lead, homeschool, and build one system, one child, one act of service at a time.🙏
Let's build with people at the core.🔥

Recent news about school violence and bullying reminded me why our family continues to believe that education is more than academics.
As parents, we want our children to excel.
But beyond excellence, we want them to develop compassion, courage, integrity, and respect for others.
This school year, our children entered new academic programs and opportunities. We celebrate those achievements, but we celebrate something else even more:
The character is being built behind the scenes.
At home, some of our most important lessons are not found in textbooks.
They happen through conversations about kindness, accountability, emotional resilience, and how we treat people who are different from us.
A strong nation begins with strong families.
Let's continue raising children who not only succeed but also uplift others.

📚 First Day of High School: A Homeschool Milestone
Today is a special day for our family.
Marco begins Grade 9 in the Enhanced Science Pilot Section of Los Baños National High School.
Martina begins Grade 7 in the Specialized Journalism Program.
As a homeschool family, moments like these remind us that learning does not stop because a child is not enrolled in a traditional school.
Over the years, we learned at home, borrowed books, used secondhand resources, explored interests, asked questions, made mistakes, and trusted God one step at a time.
This year, Marco also passed the Philippine Science High School Grade 9 transfer qualifying exam. While we continue to wait for the final slot availability, we are grateful for what this achievement represents: perseverance, growth, and God's faithfulness.
More than scholarships, pilot sections, or entrance exams, we celebrate the character our children are developing.
God has been faithful through every season.
To fellow homeschool families: keep going.
Your efforts matter more than you think.

This is the heart behind 4Ms Sulit-Tipid Homeschooling PH.
Not a perfect family.
Not a Pinterest-perfect homeschool setup.
Just a family learning, growing, healing, and building together; one intentional day at a time.
Through the years, we’ve learned that homeschooling is not just about academics.
It’s about:
🎯 building strong family relationships
🎯creating a home culture rooted in faith and purpose
🎯living a sulit-tipid but meaningful life
🎯raising Filipino children with character, responsibility, and heart
And honestly?
This journey has changed us, parents, too.
There were seasons filled with uncertainty, health challenges, anxiety, and rebuilding.
But God has been faithful through all of it.
Slowly, we are learning that intentional parenting is not about doing everything perfectly.
It’s about showing up daily with love, clarity, and purpose.
Here in our little space online, we hope to share:
📚 our Pinoy homeschooling journey
💡 practical sulit-tipid ideas
💛 intentional parenting conversations
🏡 family systems that make home life lighter and more joyful
Because we truly believe:
"We build the Philippines by building our families first."
If you’re a parent trying your best,
trying to simplify life,
trying to raise your children with intention…
Welcome, Kasama ka dito!

Dear Me,
I know how hard you’ve been trying to become someone you can trust.
Not just someone productive.
Not just someone capable.
But someone steady.
Someone who can walk into responsibility without shrinking.
Someone who can lead without constantly questioning if they’re “enough.”
Someone who can execute with confidence instead of waiting for permission.
And the truth is — you’re already becoming that person.
You’ve spent so much time learning how to support others, organize chaos, think strategically, communicate clearly, and carry outcomes on your shoulders. You’ve studied systems. Leadership. EOS principles. Accountability. Delivery. Structure. You’ve worked hard to become an Integrator who doesn’t just complete tasks, but creates movement.
But beneath all that growth, I know there’s still a quieter voice inside you asking:
“Can I really do this consistently?”
“Am I actually valuable?”
“What if I disappoint people?”
“What if I’m not ready yet?”
Here’s what I need you to remember:
Confidence was never supposed to arrive before the work.
It’s built because of the work.
Every hard conversation you survived.
Every client update you sent even when you overthought it.
Every system you improved.
Every time you stayed calm under pressure.
Every moment you chose responsibility instead of avoidance.
That counted.
You are not behind.
You are in process.
You’ve been learning how to stop measuring yourself only by perfection and start measuring yourself by consistency, ownership, and growth. That shift matters. That’s what real leadership is made of.
And even now, when you doubt yourself, you still keep showing up.
That says more about your character than confidence ever could.
I also want you to stop dismissing your ability to create impact.
You help people breathe easier.
You bring order where there’s confusion.
You help visions become executable.
You think about outcomes, not just activity.
You care deeply about doing meaningful work well.
Those are not small things.
You don’t need to become louder to become powerful.
You don’t need to become someone else to become respected.
You don’t need to know everything before you lead.
You just need to continue becoming more honest, more grounded, more disciplined, and more willing to trust your own growth.
The version of you you’re trying to become?
They’re not ahead of you somewhere.
They’re being built by the choices you’re making right now.
So keep going.
Build the rituals.
Track the wins.
Communicate the value.
Hold the standard.
Protect your energy.
Lead with clarity.
Rest when needed.
Reset when necessary.
But don’t abandon yourself just because you’re still growing.
You are allowed to become successful slowly.
You are allowed to learn leadership in real time.
You are allowed to take up space as an Integrator before you feel “fully ready.”
And one day, you’ll realize the confidence you were chasing was quietly being built in all the moments you refused to quit.
I’m proud of you for staying.
Love,
Me

God chose you to be the mother for your children. Trust that He will give you the wisdom and ability to shepherd them through their unique issues.
My own journey has involved radical acceptance of my children’s lives, and an awareness that every day might be filled with new surprises and interruptions.
That is where we encounter God’s grace at work in the most complicated moments of our lives, taking our complexities and weaving them into something beautiful.
