Attention, learners! ๐ข
Starting January 15, 2026, we reiterate the Dress Code Policy. Please make sure to follow the proper school uniform of the CBA. You may also scan the QR code for reference in the Student Handbook.
Remember, following the dress code keeps our school safe and respectful for everyone. If somethingโs not quite right, you may be guided to correct your attire, in line with the handbook.
See you around, dragons! letโs all show our CBA pride by wearing our uniforms properly and making every day a great one. ๐

CBA Week 2025 continued the College of Business and Accountancyโs advocacy for holistic and relevant education through its theme, โInnovate, Integrate, Inspire: Bridging Business, Technology, and Culture.โ The week-long celebration highlighted the balance between academic excellence, innovation, and creative expression among CBA students.
The event was organized by the College of Business and Accountancy Student Council (CBASCo), with activities designed to reflect this balance through performance-based events, academic competitions, and student-led initiatives. According to Jenny Sanao, CBASCO President, CBA Week was implemented to showcase the diverse talents of CBA students while reinforcing the departmentโs belief that learning extends beyond the classroom.
Cultural and creative events such as The Noise, CBA Idol, Dragon Dance, Dance Showdown, and Mr. and Ms. CBA Runway provided platforms for students to express creativity, confidence, and performance skills. Academic and sports-related competitions complemented these activities by emphasizing discipline, strategic thinking, and innovation.
Hence, organizers also looked ahead to the upcoming Foundation Week 2026. Unlike last year, when only ball games were included, board games were added this year to give students more opportunities to compete individually. These games will also determine which students will represent CBA in the Liga ng Palakasan 2026. Valerie Lorraine Almeda, last yearโs CBA representative at the Liga Scrabble competition, won this yearโs CBA Week Scrabble competition and will represent the department once again. She shared that sheโs excited to compete, looking forward to representing CBA and hoping to place again in the upcoming Liga.
Among the key events, the Dragon Dance and academic competitions, including Ideation and SDG/ISR Project Pitching, were highlighted as core representations of the department. The Dragon Dance involved students conceptualizing and designing a dragon that symbolized unity and departmental identity. Ideation and SDG/ISR Pitching allowed students to apply business knowledge to innovation-driven and sustainability-focused solutions, aligning with the Collegeโs core principles.
Newly introduced in 2025 was the Startup Challenge, a business pitching competition that provided students with an avenue to present entrepreneurial ideas and demonstrate real-world business applications.
Day 2 of CBA Week 2025 featured the AI Summit, in line with LPUโLaguna CBAโs initiative to integrate artificial intelligence and emerging technologies into its programs and curriculum. Industry professionals discussed the role of AI as a tool to enhance human performance rather than replace it, while also addressing ethical concerns and its impact on student learning and research.
The anticipated CBA Night was not held during CBA Week 2025 due to budget limitations and scheduling constraints, particularly the concentration of cultural activities on the first day of the program. However, CBASCO assured students that CBA Night remained part of future plans, with alternative initiatives being considered to foster shared experiences and strengthen department-wide engagement.
Despite challenges encountered during preparation and implementation, including overlapping academic commitments and logistical concerns, CBA Week 2025 was successfully carried out through the coordinated efforts of the organizers and the student body.
