✅ Tree Planting Final Day ✅
• January 12, 2024
On the third and final day of our tree planting project, the sun painted the sky with hues of orange and pink as we gathered with renewed energy. The previous days had seen us tirelessly digging, planting, and nurturing the earth. Today, however, held the promise of completing our green endeavor.
The atmosphere buzzed with a sense of accomplishment as we surveyed the rows of young saplings that now adorned the once barren land. Members, adorned with mud-streaked smiles, each of us shared our reflection stories of our journey throughout this project.
With shovels in hand, we embarked on the last leg of our mission, planting the remaining saplings with a sense of purpose. The air was filled with the scent of freshly turned soil, a reminder of the positive change we were bringing to the environment.
As the final tree found its new home in the ground, a collective cheer erupted among the team. We took a moment to appreciate the transformation we had collectively achieved, from a desolate landscape to a thriving green oasis.
As the sun dipped below the horizon, casting a golden glow over the newly planted forest, we dispersed with a shared sense of accomplishment. The third day marked not just the end of our tree planting project but the beginning of a legacy that would endure, reminding us of the impact individuals can have when they come together for a common cause.

✅ Interview ✅
•January 10, 2024
As the sun dipped below the horizon, We embarked on a mission to unravel the tapestry of environmental consciousness within the local student community. Armed with a voice recorder and a probing question, We navigated the bustling campus grounds in pursuit of insightful interviews.
The first student we encountered, Merginelle, a HUMSS student, passionately addressed a critical issue affecting their community: contaminated water laden with garbage. She conveyed the severity of the problem by highlighting its direct impact on public health, emphasizing the prevalence of stomach problems among residents. Concerned, we moved on to Louie, also a HUMSS student. In the interview, he candidly shared his concern about the pervasive stench of garbage in his community, expressing how it significantly impacts his daily life.
Each interview revealed a unique facet of environmental stewardship. Jaybee, an ICT student, earnestly communicated a distressing reality about their community, emphasizing the degradation of trees and plants due to human and animal activities. He articulated how the lack of responsible stewardship has resulted in the ruination of the greenery in their surroundings. Meanwhile, Pauline, a HUMSS student, passionately discussed a prevalent issue in their community: the widespread presence of cigarette butts strewn across the streets. She emphasized the adverse impact of this litter on the community's aesthetic appeal and environmental health. We then interviewed her friend, Red, also a HUMSS student, she highlighted a pressing concern within their community—the inadequacy of the garbage pickup schedule, limited to just one day per week. She articulately expressed how this infrequent collection fails to meet the community's waste disposal needs, leading to overflowing bins and litter accumulation.
Lastly, we interviewed Myca, a HUMSS student. In the interview, she conscientiously raised a significant concern about their community's waste management practices, specifically focusing on the absence of garbage segregation. She eloquently conveyed how the lack of a structured system for separating recyclables from general waste contributes to environmental degradation.
The common thread running through the student's narratives in the interview is undeniably concerning. Whether it's contaminated water, foul-smelling garbage, the degradation of greenery, discarded cigarette butts, or the inadequate garbage pickup schedule, each story reflects a community grappling with pressing environmental and health challenges. These narratives collectively paint a vivid picture of a community in need of comprehensive solutions and proactive measures. The concerns raised by the student underscore the importance of addressing environmental issues, promoting responsible practices, and fostering community engagement to create a healthier and more sustainable living environment for all residents.
In the end, this narrative transcended the boundaries of a mere interview; this is a testament to the transformative power of youthful passion and ingenuity. The students' narratives echoed through the corridors of academia, resonating as a call to action for a more sustainable future in our community.

✅Resources Gathered ✅
• DAY 2 - January 9, 2024
In the heart of a small community, a group of enthusiastic individuals gathered with a shared vision: to make our tomorrow greener by planting trees today. Armed with determinations and a sense of purpose, we embarked on a journey to collect tree seedlings for our ambitious project.
As we traversed lush landscapes, the air filled with anticipation and a collective determination to make a positive impact. Conversations buzzed around the importance of trees and their role in sustaining life. Each member carried the responsibility of fostering a sustainable environment, and the mantra "Plant a tree today; it will help us breathe tomorrow" echoed in our minds.
The first stop on our resource-gathering quest was a local nursery, where the vibrant hues of various tree saplings awaited us. With careful consideration, we selected a diverse array of species, mindful of the ecosystem we aimed to nurture. The saplings cradled in our hands symbolized hope and resilience, ready to take root and flourish.
Venturing further into the community, we engaged with barangay officials, seeking support for our green initiative. A 500 peso donation was received – not just in the form of funds, but also in the form of shared enthusiasm. The project became a communal effort, a testament to the collective power of individuals coming together for a common cause.
With the resources secured, the planting day will arrive tomorrow, January 10, 2024. Join us as we embark on this journey leading to a greener future environment!

✅Consent Letter Signed ✅
• DAY 1 - January 8, 2024
The consent letter, that was signed today January 8, 2024, symbolized more than mere approval; it was a pledge to support the growth of knowledge and a dedication to cultivating a greener future. The signature of Hon. Nemar G. Mendoza, barangay captain of Southville 6 Brgy. Kay anlog, represented a union of a community in steering the students towards a profound connection with nature.
As the signed consent letter was collected, it became the first seed of change planted in the fertile soil of community collaboration. This research project sows the seeds of environmental stewardship in the hearts and minds of the young participants.
The research is set for a transformative journey, where the ink on the consent letter echoed a resounding affirmation: that together, as a community, we would play an active role in nurturing both the minds of students and the planet they called home.
