An Open Letter to Parents as WE OPEN A NEW SCHOOL YEAR

Dear Parents,

The chaos we are witnessing today did not emerge overnight. It is the result of years of poor discernment, weak formation, blind following, normalized deception, and the gradual loss of critical thinking in our society.

What we are seeing is no longer simply a political problem. It is an educational crisis. It is a formation crisis. It is a warning about what happens when a nation stops teaching its young people how to think clearly, question responsibly, and stand firmly for truth.

This is why choosing a school today matters more than ever.

We say this clearly and explicitly. This is not merely about choosing Don Bosco College. This is about choosing ANY school where discernment happens. Choose a school where integrity is preserved. Choose a school that forms conscience, not conformity. Choose a school that teaches students not only how to succeed, but also how to recognize truth amid manipulation, noise, and deception.

Because education is never neutral. Schools shape the minds, values, habits, and convictions of the young. They help determine whether future citizens will blindly follow outrage or courageously seek wisdom and truth.

Our country cannot remain trapped forever in the cycle of deception, emotional manipulation, and division. The future of the nation now depends on how we form the next generation.

Kasabay ng nalalapit na pagbubukas ng School Year 2026-2027, nagpaabot ng mensahe ang Don Bosco College, Inc. tungkol sa kahalagahan ng paghubog ng critical thinking skills ng kabataan kasabay ng paninindigan sa katotohanan sa gitna ng paglaganap ng misinformation.

Ayon sa institusyon, mahalaga ang pagpili ng paaralang hindi lamang nakatuon sa academic success, kundi nagtuturo rin ng mga pagpapahalagang gaya ng integridad at tamang pagpapasya.
