🔹Qualifications:
▪️ BSED major in SPED or Early Childhood / BS in Psychology with specialization in SPED
▪️ LET passer is an advantage
▪️ Relevant experience working with learners with special needs ( ASD, ADHD, learning disabilities)
▪️ Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with parents, teachers, and support staff
▪️ Patient, compassionate, and committed to supporting diverse learners
▪️ Skilled in creating inclusive, engaging, and learner-centered environments
▪️ Knowledge or experience in developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs
▪️ Basic classroom management and behavior intervention skills
▪️ Willingness to pursue continuous professional and spiritual growth in a Christ-centered environment
🔹Key Responsibilities:
▪️ Assess students' skills to determine their needs and to develop teaching plans
▪️ Adapt the lessons to meet the needs of students and encourage collaboration to other teachers in determining the areas to be covered is the students' program.
▪️ Collaborate with parents, staff, and other professionals to provide a comprehensive and supportive educational experience.
▪️ Develop and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for each student
▪️ Teach and mentor students as a class, in small groups, and one-on-one
▪️ Implement IEPs, assess students' performance, and track their progress
▪️ Discuss student's progress with parents, teachers, counselors, and administrators
▪️ Supervise and mentor teacher assistants who work with students with disabilities
▪️ Prepare and help students transition from grade to grade and after graduation
▪️ Perform relevant academic tasks duly required by the management.
