September 10 is World Su***de Prevention Day.

We are reaching out to those who are still struggling -- you exist, we see you, you are important.

For those who lost someone from su***de -- we are with you in remembering your angels today.

We commissioned this wonderful art from Art Jardeleza to strongly represent our two slogans for a tshirt project: Laban. Lumalaban. Lalabanan and Kinaya. Kinakaya. Kakayanin. Su***de can be a toxic cycle but could be managed safely and beautifully. This is the message we want to campaign for. Ending all su***de is trickier but preventing one su***de at a time is more realistic.

Suicidal ideation can be hard to control. With or without reasons, they pop up randomly and feed us lies. They go away then suddenly visit us again without a warning. For many people, its a constant struggle. They fight it, they survive it and when it comes back, we hope you'll survive it again.

So as we always say, if you cant be strong, be brave. Keep going. And save a life while staying alive.

School of Education, Arts, and Sciences Student Council, in partnership with the Culturtain Musicat Productions Inc., proudly brings you CINE ARRIBA, the first-ever cinema event in Colegio de San Juan de Letran - Calamba.

This film event will screen the "Best Picture" and most anticipated Metro Manila Film Festival movie of 2017: "Ang Larawan" directed by Loy Arcenas. Catch it on March 15 – 16, 2018 (Thursday – Friday) at Fra Angelico Hall, Old Gymnasium as this event is exclusive and open for the entire Letran community.
