On behalf of the Alliance of Young Tourism Professionals, we extend our deepest condolences to the family, friends, and loved ones of our fellow Tourism student, John-Ky Tugano.

As your fellow Tourism students, we will always remember you and the memories you shared with us. Your journey may have ended too soon, but you will always have a place in the hearts of the people who knew you.

To all our fellow tourism students the weather is really bad right now. So we have to tell everyone that our AYTP General Assembly 2026: "TOURISMO: Uniting the Next Generation of Travelers" will not happen on August 19 2026 like we planned.

We are moving it to a date.

A lot of us were looking forward to meeting each other talking to tourism students and celebrating how much we love the tourism industry. For now your safety is the most important thing.

We will let you know the date and schedule soon. So keep an eye out for updates! 👀

On July 10, 2026, the Officers of Alliance of Young Tourism Professionals formally took the oath of office and attended a Leadership Training Seminar on. This day marks the beginning of our dedication to lead with integrity, providing exceptional service, and upholding the hospitality values that define our department. With the knowledge we've acquired and the oath we've taken, we're determined to work together, develop worthwhile programs, and set an example for our fellow students as we lead our department toward new destina of growth, creativity, and "Discover More to Love" experiences.

This is more than a position, it is a responsibility, and we accept it with pride. This is our flight to lead!
