Beginnings and Beyond: The DAS Orientation 2026 ✨

The Department of Arts and Sciences formally welcomed our new PSYCHmates and COMMates during the DAS Orientation, which was held at Roman Lazaro Hall on July 16, 2026.

Through engaging morning and afternoon sessions filled with inspiring messages from our college president, introductions to our faculty, and interactive Q&As with PsyCHE officers, the orientation provided our students with the guidance needed to navigate the road ahead.

Today's Campus Tour gave our BS Psychology and BA Communication freshmen the chance to explore the campus, get to know important facilities, and become more familiar with their new environment. It was a great way to start feeling at home in the City College of Calamba.

The 𝑫𝒆𝒑𝒂𝒓𝒕𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒇 𝑨𝒓𝒕𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒆𝒔 successfully conducted its first Faculty Development Seminar for Academic year 2026-2027 on July 8, 2026, with 𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒇 𝑹𝒊𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒆 𝑽. 𝑴𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒐𝒛𝒂 as the Resource speaker.

The seminar attended by the DAS faculty members, featured the topic"𝑹𝒆𝒇𝒓𝒂𝒎𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑨𝒔𝒔𝒆𝒔𝒔𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝑻𝒐𝒐𝒍𝒔 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒕𝒉𝒐𝒅𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑮𝒆𝒏𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒍 𝑬𝒅𝒖𝒄𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏 𝑪𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔𝒆𝒔. The activity provided valuable insights into innovative assessment practices that strengthen teaching effectiveness and support quality education.
