Discussions highlighted advancements in the Internet of Things (IoT) and AI-powered IoT, showcasing how technology continues to transform disaster response and preparedness. The cadets also explored various exhibits featuring modern equipment, including the latest personal protective equipment (PPE) and response technologies.
The forum featured representatives from various Indo-Pacific countries, who shared their respective approaches, experiences, and strategies in disaster management. In the afternoon, cadets transitioned into hands-on application, performing basic rescue operations utilizing pulley systems. Through practical exercises, they experienced the importance of teamwork, coordination, and mechanical advantage in safely maneuvering loads and rescuing victims in challenging environments.

The morning session began with a lecture on ventilation and smoke control, followed by a demonstration on the proper use of positive and negative pressure ventilation. In the afternoon, the cadets engaged in the outdoor application of proper building ventilation. Each group, fully geared in PPE, navigated a smoke-filled structure, establishing correct streams and applying techniques to efficiently control and expel smoke from the building.
These activities highlighted the Lollapalooza effect, showing that problems are best solved by embracing a multifaceted mindset and by calmly and objectively considering all aspects of a situation.
