In observance of Saint Isidore’s Feast Day, classes and office operations at LPU–Laguna will be suspended tomorrow, May 15, 2026.

Regular classes will resume on May 16, 2026, while office operations will resume on May 18, 2026.

Following the January 5 exploratory meeting, the College of Engineering & Computer Studies (COECS), together with the Palaestra Consortio & Industry Partnership Office, conducted a plant visit at NIDEC Philippines Corporation in Laguna Technopark last April 22, 2026.

The team visited NIDEC’s state-of-the-art Automation & Machine Design Development Center, where they were exposed to:

🔹 Data Analytics & Machine Programming
🔹 Automation Technologies
🔹 & the future of Smart Manufacturing

As part of this engagement, LPU Laguna stands among the few university partners of NIDEC, a global Japanese company with operations spanning over 40 countries worldwide—highlighting LPU’s expanding global industry footprint.

This initiative opens pathways for:
✔ Student Internships
✔ Faculty Immersion
✔ Capstone Project collaboration focusing on AI, Data Analytics, Programming, Automation, Robotics, and Operation Efficiency

A true Industry-Driven, Global Initiative—empowering LPU students to be competitive, innovative, and future-ready.

The visit was participated by Dr. Gerald Magpantay, COECS Dean, together with Engr. Michael Carl Bilog, Engr. Julio Victor Herrera and Mr. Patrick Constantino.
