Preparing Lyceans for the world of work!

The Palaestra Consortio Office of Lyceum of the Philippines – Laguna successfully conducted JUMPSTART 2026: Career Talk, equipping graduating students with the knowledge, confidence, and practical skills needed to excel in today's competitive job market.

In partnership with Jobs180 and Synchrony, the Career Talk featured insightful sessions on power dressing, résumé writing, and interview strategies, empowering students to build a strong professional image and confidently navigate the recruitment process.

A special highlight of the event was the inspiring talk of Mr. Michael Oliver P. Caguete, an LPU Laguna alumnus (Batch 2014), who shared practical advice on power dressing and résumé writing, along with his personal journey from being an LPU student to achieving professional success. His story served as a reminder that determination, preparation, and continuous learning are key to building a rewarding career.

Lyceum of the Philippines – Laguna, through the Palaestra Consortio and Industry Partnership Office and College of Engineering and Computer Studies, recently held an exploratory meeting with MIDAS Philippines to discuss potential areas of collaboration in support of student internships and industry engagement.

The meeting focused on exploring internship opportunities, experiential learning programs, and industry-academe initiatives designed to enhance students’ technical competencies, professional skills, and career readiness. These discussions reflect LPU Laguna’s commitment to strengthening partnerships that bridge classroom learning with real-world industry experience.

Lyceum of the Philippines – Laguna and NIDEC Philippines Corporation have officially formalized their partnership through the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) at Laguna Technopark.

This collaboration marks another significant step in strengthening the connection between academia and industry by providing LPU Laguna students with meaningful internship opportunities, hands-on industry exposure, and potential career pathways within a globally recognized manufacturing company.
