𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗛𝗦 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗿𝗮𝗺𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝟭

The SHS department ignited the campus last January 16 for the highly anticipated Intramurals Season 1, following a grueling round-robin tournament across multiple games. The Sand and Leaf Villages made their distinction when they emerged as the day's victors, bagging championship titles in two events each.

𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗳 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗦𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝗼𝗹𝗱; 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗼 𝗕𝗮𝗴𝘀 𝟳 𝗚𝗼𝗮𝗹𝘀
The Leaf Village dominated the field with a perfect 3-0 record. Highlighted by Damien Preston Claudio, the MVP, scoring a staggering 7 goals. This victory was fueled by the synergy between Claudio and Jan Gabriel Morales, who was injured in the second match, briefly hindering Leaf’s momentum, but made a second-half comeback, anchoring the defense.
“We compared their duo to Ronaldo and Marcelo because of how good their passes were to each other…It was like a movie,” said Seb Casanova. Despite valiant efforts, Leaf's defensive line ultimately outclassed the Sand Village who got 2nd and the Mist Village, who placed 3rd.

𝗦𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗩𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗗𝗼𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗲𝘀: 𝗠𝗟𝗕𝗕
The Sand Village solidified their digital standpoint in Mobile Legends with an undefeated 3-0. Through remarkable management and team coordination, Sand dismantled the defenses of the Cloud Village, who settled for 2nd, and the Mist Village, who secured 3rd.

𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗔𝗿𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘆
The Leaf Village claimed the spotlight in Archery, led by Seb Casanova’s steady hand. After a dominant opening round against Sand (27-15), Seb faced the Mist Village in the Finals. Seb led Leaf to a 12-5 victory over Mist’s Russel Balhon, securing Leaf’s second championship of the day, with Mist securing 2nd place, and Sand securing 3rd.

𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗮𝘇𝗲𝘀: 𝗦𝗰𝗿𝗮𝗯𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗢𝗚
Strategic thinking and focus were put to the test as Scrabble and Game of Generals (GOG) delivered tightly contested matches among the competing villages. Cloud Village topped the Scrabble competition with 953 points, led by Nate Manigbas and Ryland Angelito, while Sand Village claimed the GOG title with an undefeated 3–0 record, anchored by James Fresto’s consistent play. Leaf and Mist Villages rounded out the standings in both events, proving that skill and preparation also play a key role beyond physical sports.

While the wins were divided, the true victory lay in the camaraderie and sportsmanship displayed by the SHS students. From the cheers on the sidelines to the intense focus in the strategy rooms, Season 1 of the Intramurals proved that the spirit of Don Bosco is alive and well.

As the elements settle, the houses are already looking forward to the next season, with the Mist and Cloud Villages eager for a comeback, and Sand and Leaf aiming to defend their newly minted titles.

𝐇𝐀𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐍𝐎𝐖: The entire Basic Education Department (BED) gathers for a unified BED Mass led by Fr. Adnan Alfred, SDB, followed by a Parents’ Formation on mental health and effective parenting with Fr. Dennis Paez, SDB as the speaker. This event also marks the school’s first implementation of online grade distribution through the Brainee system, replacing traditional paper-based report cards.

HAPPENING NOW: Junior High & Senior High School Departments convene for the long-awaited annual intrams opening, with the theme "YOAKE: Fueling Hope, Igniting Greatness Within", featuring four anime inspired houses, each to present their set of cosplays, yells, and cheerdance.
