✅ Step 1: Check if You Are Qualified

You must:

✔ Filipino citizen
✔ Age usually 18 – 38 years old
✔ No criminal record
✔ Physically and mentally fit
✔ No history of illegal stay in Korea
✔ Not color blind
✔ No Scar/TB History

📚 Step 2: Register at POEA / DMW (Department of Migrant Workers

• Create E Registration account at DMW / POEA website

🇰🇷 Step 3: Study Korean Language (Very Important)

You need to pass EPS-TOPIK Korean Language Exam.

You will study:
• Basic Korean language (Message Jabez Korean Language Tutorial Center or Jabez Kltc Calamba Laguna )
• Listening & Reading
• Work safety & culture

👉 Many applicants review for months because exam is competitive.

Step 4: Take the EPS-TOPIK Exam

If you PASS:

✔ You need to take the Skill Test ( to be announced by the DMW( former POEA).


If you FAIL:
➡ You can retake next schedule

✍️ Step 7:

Once Selected:

✔ Sign the STANDARD LABOR CONTRACT and take Refresher Course at DMW/ Re medical and COTB Clearance/ VISA Application/Secure NBI Clearance/PEOS On line/Pre-Departure Orientation Seminar. Then wait for your TED (TEMPORARY ENTRY DATE).

🛫 Step 8: Deployment/ Entry Date : On this date, You will pay SSS , PAG IBIG and OWWA Contribution. Then DMW will give you your Name Tag, the Legendary Blue jacket and your Flight ticket .

• Some earn ₩3.0 M or more with overtime.

🇰🇷 3 YEARS INITIAL CONTRACT, EXTENSION IS POSSIBLE UP TO 9 YEARS AND 8 MONTHS. AFTER THAT, YOU MAY APPLY FOR A CHANGE OF E- 7 VISA (this will give you a chance to stay longer in South Korea).

🇰🇷 Sebae (세배) — A Korean Lunar New Year Tradition In South Korea
During Seollal, some families across South Korea begin the new year by performing Sebae (세배) — a formal, deep bow offered by younger family members to their elders.

Sebae is more than a greeting. It is a Confucian-influenced gesture that expresses respect, gratitude, and wishes for good fortune in the coming year. Children and younger relatives wear traditional hanbok (한복) and perform the full bow (큰절), placing their hands on the floor and lowering their forehead in a sign of sincerity and humility.

📍Today, practices vary by family. Some families no longer perform charye and choose to celebrate Seollal in different ways, such as gathering for a simple meal or traveling. In these cases, there is often no need to wear hanbok.

In return, elders offer words of blessing and often give sebaetdon (세뱃돈) — New Year’s money presented in envelopes. This exchange symbolizes encouragement, prosperity, and the passing of wisdom between generations.
While modern celebrations may vary from household to household, Sebae remains one of the most recognized and enduring customs of Seollal, reflecting Korea’s deep respect for family ties and tradition.

🇰🇷2026 Minimum Wage of South Korea 🇰🇷

Effective today January 1 ay nag start na ang bagong daily rate, ot rate, night diff rate, hourly rate at monthly rate natin. Applicable po ito mula January 1 ~ December 31, 2026

Makikita ang bagong monthly rate sa ating payslip sa darating na sahod natin ng February (January 1 ~ 31 na ipinasok)

Maaaring komunsulta o isangguni sa mga Migrants center, Ministry of Labor & Employment or POLO Sa Phil Embassy kapag Hindi sumunod ang mga employer natin.

Pls be guided accordingly.
