Delegates from our institution successfully participated in the recently concluded ๐ฐ๐ฑ๐๐ต ๐๐๐๐จ๐๐ข๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฝ๐ฎ๐ฏ๐ถ๐น๐ถ๐๐ ๐ง๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ถ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด held from October 13 to 15, 2026, at Hotel Dominique, Tagaytay City.
Guided by the theme "Quality Assurance of Research in Higher Education: Building a Culture of Rigor, Integrity, Relevance, and Impact," the three-day intensive training was led by Dr. Rebecca C. Tolentino, Professor III at Pamantasan ng Lungsod ng Maynila and Executive Director of the ALCUCOA Research Council.

Throughout the training, the team engaged in critical sessions designed to strengthen our research ecosystem:
Day 1: Unpacking the value of research for Local Colleges and Universities (LUCs) and laying the foundations of QA in research.
Day 2: Diving deep into research governance, policies, direction, support systems, monitoring mechanisms, and navigating ethics, integrity, and Responsible AI.
Day 3: Focusing on publication, dissemination, research utilization, and crafting an actionable framework to institutionalize research quality assurance.
Beyond the learning modules, Dr. Leon R. Ramos (VPAA) actively maximized the gathering to forge strategic connections with fellow Local Universities and Colleges (LUCs), opening doors for potential academic collaborations and inter-institutional partnerships.
