Some heroes carry capes; others carry lesson plans, mark papers, give reminders, and walk into the classroom each day ready to make a difference. On October 2, 2026, the CaSeHian community set aside the usual school-day routine for something special: a celebration of the teachers who make learning meaningful and every classroom a place to grow.
The program began with a prayer led by SSLG Secretary Mr. Mark Winston Manalo, followed by the singing of the National Anthem and a heartfelt opening message from SPTA President Mrs. Mirasol U. Esguerra. From the very first moments, the celebration carried one message: today was for the people whose dedication often speaks louder than words.
The energy rose as Mrs. Glenda Ramos led an invigorating Zumba session, bringing teachers and learners together through movement and music. Special performances by Kap. Reneboy Castillo and Bokala Armi Bausas added to the excitement, while the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) kept the fun going with two phases of games. The LICA Club and S*F Special brought creativity to the stage through a theater play, giving the audience another reason to cheer.
But the celebration was not only about lively performances and friendly competition. It was also about the words and melodies that can say what a simple โthank youโ sometimes cannot. Spoken poetry from Mr. Arnven Cabrera, Ms. Jasmin Pesigan, Ms. Kim Baldrias, and Ms. Alexandra Buela, along with dedicated songs from members of the CaSeHian community, filled the occasion with warmth and appreciation. Food and fellowship brought everyone closer, before the raffle and closing remarks from SSLG Adviser Mr. Bryan M. Razon brought the program to a fitting close.
Yet, beyond the games, performances, and prizes, the heart of the celebration was found in something much simpler: gratitude. Every lesson taught, every correction offered, every word of encouragement, and every second chance can become part of a learnerโs story long after the school year ends. These are the quiet ways teachers leave a lasting mark.
To all the teachers of Calaca Senior High School, this celebration was our little way of saying that your efforts are seen, your sacrifices are valued, and your presence matters. Thank you for helping every CaSeHian discover not only what they can learn, but also who they can become.
Happy Teachersโ Day to the hearts behind every lesson and the people who help shape every tomorrow. ๐๐
