On 8 March 2025, DepEd Tayo Calaca Senior High School - Batangas Province joins International Women's Day celebration under the theme, โ€œFor ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.โ€

This year's theme calls for action that can unlock equal rights, power and opportunities for all and a feminist future where no one is left behind.

Calaca Senior High School proudly hosted the End VAW (Violence Against Women) Symposium, raising awareness and advocating for a future free from abuse.

The said symposium became meaningful and fruitful through the invited speaker, Rev. Mikhail I. Sandoval who shared his advocacy in the theme, โ€œThe Sacred to Protect the Dignity of Women:A Faith-Based Approach to Ending Violenceโ€.

The said free services were distributed via a raffle during the school Women's Month Celebration. This was all made possible through the collaboration with the KATALONAN Club, SSLG and C Senior. The teaching and non-teaching personnel of the school felt an overwhelming joy and excitement in the entire raffle. Yet, beyond these gifts, the gratefulness in the hearts of every Juana is on fire as each one of us felt extraspecial mostly at time like this.

Following the series of activities that support the National Women's Month Celebration 2024 โ€“ CSHS Gender and Development opens its doors to offer complementary services to the the school teaching & non-teaching personnel.

Providing a moment of relaxation and relief amidst the overwhelming load of the first half of the second semester, the teaching and non-teaching staff of CSHS gathered to indulge in self-care activities through massages, haircuts, manicure, and pedicure. The students who served in the said event voluntarily involved themselves to show how they give importance to every women.

The โ€œLibreng Serbisyo para kay Juanaโ€ is the last activity set for the month in celebration of this year's National Womenโ€™s Month.

Together, let's create a future where everyone thrives regardless of gender.๐Ÿ’œ
