โ€ŽMRDA Academic Center Incorporated, led by the Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG), celebrated Teachers' Day 2026 at MRDA ACI on October 6, 2026.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe program began with an energizing song, followed by the opening of the celebration led by hosts Lyka Mendoza and Jaslyn Dumalasa. The prayer was led by Lyka Mendoza, and the Philippine National Anthem was conducted by Teresito Talavera.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽIn her opening remarks, SSLG President Jaslyn Dumalasa emphasized the importance of celebrating Teachers' Day as a way to recognize the unwavering dedication and sacrifices of educators.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe highlight of the celebration was the Fun Activities prepared for teachers, which included Paper Dance, Grab the Bottle, Color Game, Linya-Estra, and Chair Relay. The games brought laughter and excitement to both teachers and students.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽTo pause from the games, the SSLG awarded fun awards and certificates of appreciation to all teachers from the elementary and high school departments.
โ€Ž
โ€Ž After the awarding ceremony, Ma'am Elaine A. Daliva, the school administrator, delivered an emotional message, expressing gratitude to the teachers for their tireless service and passion for teaching.
โ€Ž
โ€ŽThe program continued with a heartfelt serenade by Elaijah Navarro and the giving of gifts to the teachers as a token of appreciation.

โ€ŽThe celebration concluded with a picture-taking session and closing remarks from the SSLG President.

โ€ŽSa henerasyong ating kinabibilangan, tila iilan na lamang ang tunay na nagmamalasakit at naniniwala sa kakayahan ng mga kabataan. Sino nga ba ang nananatiling tapat na patunay na mayroon pa ring mga pusong handang maniwala at magmalasakit nang walang hinihintay na kapalit?

โ€ŽSila ang ating mga g**o.

โ€ŽSa bawat salitang binibigkas nila at sa bawat paalalang kanilang ibinibigay, naroon ang kanilang wagas na pagmamahal at matibay na paniniwala. Ang bawat paalala at pagsisikap nila ay hindi lamang tungkol sa disiplina. Ito ay tanda ng kanilang malalim na tiwala na alam nilang kaya ng bawat mag-aaral na magtagumpay. Sila ang laging nakahandang makita ang halaga ng bawat isa kahit na minsan ay hindi pa ito nakikita ng iba. Sa panahong marami ang nagdududa, sila ang nananatiling matatag na patunay na ang bawat kabataan ay may potensyal na magtagumpay.

โ€ŽIsang malaking karangalan na maturuan ng mga g**ong may tunay na pagmamahal at malalim na pag-aaruga. Ang kanilang dedikasyon ay higit pa sa pagtuturo ng leksyon. Ito ay pagbubukas ng pinto para sa mga pangarap at pagbibigay-lakas sa pagkatao ng bawat isa. Ang kanilang impluwensya ay hindi mabubura ng panahon. Ito ay nagiging pundasyon ng kinabukasan ng bawat mag-aaral.

โ€ŽAng kanilang pamana ay hindi lamang nasusukat sa mga itinuro nila sa loob ng silid-aralan. Ito ay nakikita sa tiwalang ibinibigay nila sa bawat kabataan at sa pag-asang inilalagay nila sa ating mga puso. Ang kanilang pagmamalasakit ay bihira at ito ang pinakamahalagang pamana na dadalhin ng bawat mag-aaral habang-buhay.

The Team Valkyries emerged as the Overall Champion of the MRDA ACI Intramurals 2026 held on September 22-25, 2026.

The Valkyries secured the championship title after leading the overall points tally from various events, including sports competitions, board games, cultural events, and pageantry. Following them, the Raiders of the Nile placed 1st runner-up, the Guardians of Shangri-La secured 2nd runner-up, and the Team Olympians finished as 3rd runner-up.

The celebration ended with claps, cheers and pride as the Valkyries proudly raised their championship banner, marking a memorable victory for the team.

โ€ŽThe celebration began at 7:00 AM with a colorful parade of teams from MRDA ACI Calabanga Campus to Octagon People's Complex, where each team proudly showcase their colors by wearing team T-shirt and banners, followed by an energizing Zumba session for students and teachers.

โ€ŽThe opening program started with a prayer led by Ms. Lyka Mendoza, followed by the singing of the National Anthem led by Ms. Jaslyn Dumalasa, and opening remarks from the school administrator, Ma'am Elaine Daliva. She formally welcomed all the participants and emphasized the importance of unity and sportsmanship throughout the intramurals. The MAPEH Club Adviser also expressed gratitude to the administration, teachers, and students for their support and active participation in making the event possible.

โ€ŽThe oath of sportsmanship and tournament torch lighting was led by the MAPEH Club President, Mr. Aries Archivido, marking the official start of the intramurals. On the same day, the much-awaited cheerdance competition and laro ng lahi were also successfully held, showcasing the energy and teamwork of each team.

I'm terrified of being ordinary. But what if "ordinary" is exactly what I need to be? What if everything I've chased was just a distraction from the person I was meant to become? These achievements, they made me paranoid, built a wall between me and everyone else. Suddenly, I saw enemies everywhere, people who wanted to tear me down, jealous of the very things I thought defined me.

It feels weird when you stop trying so hard to be the best. But this time, I felt peace and freedomโ€”seemed like all the pressures to win or to be perfect vanished. But sometimes, you're like "uh and what now?"

I start wondering if I was just a walking paper. A list of achievements. Was that it? just a bunch of medals, certificates and trophy plaques. That's when I started to feels like a totally fake. I don't feel alive anymoreโ€”it hindering me to do things that make me feel happy because doing things that aren't helpful for my success feels wrong. Perhaps, I should try to enjoy my life because it was more worthy than having recognition. Those things still mattered, even without a prize.

Maybe who I am without all the achievements is justโ€ฆ me. An average person who messes up sometimes, but also cares about things. Someone who wants to be a good person, not just a successful one.

It kind of hard finding who you really wasโ€”who that "me" really is. But also, an exciting part knowing what really makes you a "happy person." And maybe, that's enough.
