Storybooks Came to Life Yesterday! 📖✨

What a magical way to celebrate National Book Week! Yesterday, November 26, 2025, our Elementary Department transformed into a world of imagination.

We kicked things off with a vibrant Parade of Characters, where our students dressed up as their favorite literary heroes and icons. The excitement continued with amazing Class Presentations from every grade level, showcasing their creativity and teamwork.

To top it all off, we were moved by the powerful performances in the Declamation Competition. A huge congratulations to all our participants for bringing such passion to the stage! 🎤👏

Thank you to the parents, teachers, and students who made yesterday unforgettable.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

📌 The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) has declared the suspension of classes in all levels today, September 1, 2025, until lifted, due to the continuous heavy rains affecting our area. This measure is for the safety and well-being of our students, teachers, and the community. 🌧️☔

📌 To ensure learning continues, classes in Elementary will shift to sending Activity Sheets from their teachers, and in High School, they will conduct synchronous and asynchronous class.

📌 Students are advised to regularly check their group chats and Quipper for updates and instructions from their subject teachers.

Let us all stay safe, remain updated through reliable sources, and continue learning responsibly from home. 🏠

📢 CLASS RESUMPTION ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

Due to significant improvement of the weather conditions, the suspension of in-person classes in all levels at OLPA is now lifted.

Starting today, August 27, 2025, regular face-to-face classes will officially resume. We remind everyone to come prepared and continue observing safety and health protocols on campus.

Thank you for your patience and cooperation during the suspension period. Let us look forward to a safe and productive return to school. ✨📚

📢 Announcement

In accordance with the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) advisory and Memorandum Circular No. 93, s. 2025 issued by the Office of the President today July 24, 2025, classes in all levels will remain suspended tomorrow, Friday, July 25, 2025.

To ensure continuity of learning, teachers will provide activity sheets to students📋. We ask for your understanding as OLPA management implements this alternative learning modality.

🕊️ In Loving Memory of Mr. Rogelio “Jhune” Lalongisip Jr. 🕊️

It is with heavy hearts that we mourn the passing of Mr. Rogelio "Jhune" Lalongisip Jr., ECC President of Our Lady of La Porteria Academy, who joined our Creator on July 11, 2025.

A devoted father, a loving husband, and a true public servant. His dedication and compassion touched many lives in our community.

Your kindness, service, and unwavering support will forever be remembered.

Rest in peace, Sir Jhune. You will always have a special place in our hearts. 💙
