Out of 572 students, he garnered 301 votes—equivalent to 52.62% of the electorate—clearly surpassing the requirement set in Article XIII, which states that a running candidate must obtain 50% + 1 of the total votes.

📢 ANNOUNCEMENT 📢

The election will be held on May 20, 2026.
The Meeting de Avance will take place in the morning, while the voting proper will be conducted in the afternoon.
Pursuant to Article XIII, the presidential candidate must obtain fifty plus one percent (50% + 1) of the total votes cast to be considered duly elected.

If the candidate does not meet this requirement, COMSELEC shall conduct a special election on the following day, May 21, 2026. In this special election, the class officers of each class per department together with the three umbrella organizations will be the ones to nominate a candidate and cast their votes.

This is your chance to shape the future of student leadership—be informed, be present, and let your voice be heard!
