With their uniforms neatly prepared, boots polished, and determination on their faces, the CBSUAโCalabanga NSTPโROTC Unit proudly represented the university during the 16th Bicol Regional Military Parade and Competition held in Naga City, Bicol, Philippines, on September 18, 2026.
The ROTC Unit departed from the CBSUAโCalabanga Campus at 0420H and proceeded to the parade venue. Upon arrival at the Jesse M. Robredo Coliseum, the cadets prepared for the dayโs activities and conducted warm-up exercises at 0550H in preparation for the event scheduled at 0800H.
At 0633H, the cadets formed according to their respective line numbers along Mayon Avenue in Naga City as they prepared to take their designated positions for the parade. From the early morning until 1200H, the ROTC Unit remained in formation and marched along the designated route, showcasing discipline, coordination, and enthusiasm as they passed in front of Triboo Grill Restaurant while maintaining their assigned formations.
Throughout the event, the cadets were guided by NSTP Coordinator Jonel O Barra and ROTC Coordinator Armel T Tabinas, with the support of the Graduate Military Assistants, Tactical NCOs, Gryphons, Medics, ROTC Journalists, and other ROTC officers. Their collective efforts helped ensure that the unit remained organized, prepared, and united throughout the activity.
We would also like to extend our sincere appreciation to the Food CommitteeโJennifer Banday, Sherry Mae B Belleca, and Mark Anthony A Ramosโfor their efforts, dedication, and support throughout the activity. Their assistance and commitment contributed to the smooth and organized participation of the ROTC Unit.
Above all, we would like to express our deepest gratitude to our Campus Administrator, Dr. Ernesto D Doloso Jr., for his unwavering support, encouragement, and continued commitment to the CBSUAโCalabanga ROTC Unit. His consistent support has been a great help to the cadets and officers, especially during activities that require dedication, preparation, and teamwork. We sincerely appreciate his continued trust and support, which inspire the ROTC Unit to remain committed to its duties and represent the university with discipline, honor, and pride.
Despite the heat and long hours on the field, the cadets continued to demonstrate discipline, teamwork, determination, and dedication. Every step, formation, and movement reflected the effort they had invested during their training and preparation for the event.
Beyond the parade and competition, the event provided another opportunity for the CBSUAโCalabanga ROTC Unit to embody the values of discipline, leadership, camaraderie, and service while carrying the name of the university with pride.
As the formation came to an end, the journey of the CBSUAโCalabanga ROTC Unit continues. Every training, challenge, and experience helps shape cadets who strive to lead with purpose, serve with honor, and pursue excellence.
