𝐑𝐒𝐔 𝐂𝐚𝐣𝐢𝐝𝐢𝐨𝐜𝐚𝐧 𝐒𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐋𝐢𝐤𝐡𝐚𝐦𝐨𝐧 2025, 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 𝐇𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐌𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐩𝐥𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬
May 14, 2025 — Students from Romblon State University - Cajidiocan Campus made their mark at the recently concluded Likhamon 2025, held on May 14 at RSU Main Campus, Odiongan, Romblon, with the theme "Kabataang Mananaliksik, Kaagapay ng Komunidad." Spearheaded by the REDi (Research Extension, Development and Innovation), the event gathered young researchers and innovators from across the university system, showcasing research, wit, and talent in various competitions.
𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗡. 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶 proudly secured the title of 𝑮𝒊𝒏𝒐𝒐 𝑳𝒊𝒌𝒉𝒂𝒎𝒐𝒏 2025 1𝒔𝒕 𝑹𝒖𝒏𝒏𝒆𝒓-𝒖𝒑, while 𝗝𝗮𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗲 𝗔𝗺𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲 carried the campus banner as a candidate for Binibining Likhamon 2025
In the Completed Research Pitching Competition, 𝗥𝗮𝘇𝘇𝗲𝗹 𝗔𝗻𝗻 𝗙. 𝗥𝗮𝗯𝗶𝗱𝗮 clinched 2𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆, impressing judges with her clear and compelling presentation of her completed study.
Meanwhile, in the Quizsearch (Quiz Bee), the trio of 𝗥𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹 𝗡. 𝗥𝗼𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗶, 𝗗𝗲𝗮 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗷𝗮𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗚𝘂𝘁𝗶𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝘇 displayed sharp minds and strong teamwork, securing 2𝒏𝒅 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 in the academic challenge.
For the Research Poster Competition, 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝘇𝗼 𝗜. 𝗠𝗮𝗰𝗮 earned 3𝒓𝒅 𝑷𝒍𝒂𝒄𝒆 for his visually engaging and informative poster. Maca also represented the campus in the Research Congress as a SHE SALM1 presenter, bringing pride to the RSU research community.
The RSU Cajidiocan delegation expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the university for its support—especially to 𝗠𝗮’𝗮𝗺 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗮 𝗝𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝗝. 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱 , Research Chairperson, and 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗚𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗿𝗱𝗼 𝗥. 𝗥𝗶𝗯𝗼𝗻, 𝗠𝗔𝗘𝗱, for their unwavering guidance and encouragement throughout the competition.

We are pleased to announce the call for completed research and RDI proposals for the 2025 In-house Review on May 30, 2025 via Zoom.

Proposals falling under the priority agenda are prioritized for consideration. However, discipline-based research proposals and self-funded studies are still encouraged for the In-House Review.

Forms to be filled out can be accessed by scanning the QR code provided in the official announcement.

To initiate the submission process, kindly submit accomplished forms (Forms 1, 2, 3, and 4) through email at [email protected], following the prescribed subject format until April 10, 2025.

The Best Presenter for Completed Research will receive a cash prize, and 1 Best RDI Proposal shall secure a spot for internal funding.

The RSU Hostel buzzed with creativity and innovation as the Likhamon: Ideathon 2024 concluded its two-day run on November 22nd. Organized in partnership with the Department of Agriculture - MIMAROPA, the event provided a platform for students to pitch their innovative ideas and solutions.

The competition saw a flurry of brainstorming sessions, workshops, and pitch presentations, culminating in the crowning of the winners.

Congratulations to the TrashFormers, pitched by Renzo I. Maca (RSU-Cajidiocan). They took home third place with their "𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐡 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐧" product. The team consisted of Charlie M. Baile, Joana Marie Dalisay, Rainer Dave Marcelo, and Steven San Lorenzo, with their Mentor, Ma’am Preexcy B. Tupas.

Greenwise Innovators secured the "𝗠𝗼𝘀𝘁 𝗜𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆" award for their "𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁 𝗥𝗼𝗺𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗻" project. The team included Shem Linus Malay, Hero Mindoro, Marjorie Magno, Mark Lambert Fornea, Patrick Daniel Añonuevo, Rodel N. Rotoni (RSU-Cajidiocan), and Engr. Mark Hendrix Atienza is serving as their mentor.
