CAJIDIOCAN, ROMBLON - Learners of Cajidiocan Central Elementary School brought pride and honor to their school after earning top awards during the Romblon Academic Contests for Excellence (RACE) 2026 held at Cajidiocan Central Elementary School, Poblacion, Cajidiocan, Romblon. The Municipal RACE (MRACE) was conducted on August 1, 2026, followed by the District RACE (DRACE) on August 2, 2026, with the theme โSibuyan Synergy.โ
The school's official paper, SINAG, recorded an impressive performance in the Schools Press Conference, producing several champions and award-winning young journalists.
Among the double champions were Raineswen Aliah R. Bonich, Champion in Editorial Writing (English); Kirsten Hailey D. Arboleda, Champion in Column Writing (English); Keilah Nuelle Pagarigan, Champion in Copyediting and Headline Writing (English); Charlotte R. Romero, Champion in Column Writing (Filipino); and Scepter Jay R. Mecadio, Champion in Feature Writing (English). These learners secured championship titles in both the Municipal and District levels.
Another notable achievement came from Catherine R. Ramilo, who won Champion in Science and Technology Writing (Filipino) at the District Level after placing 2nd Runner-Up in the Municipal Level competition.
In the Municipal Level Schools Press Conference, Prince Jheward R. Rabino emerged as Champion in Sports Writing (English), while Alleyah Nicole R. Riรฑo placed 2nd Runner-Up in Sports Writing (Filipino).
Meanwhile, Princess Quitannah R. Regala earned 1st Runner-Up in Editorial Cartooning (Filipino) at the Municipal Level and 2nd Runner-Up at the District Level. Princess Yumi T. Rabino also secured 2nd Runner-Up in Editorial Cartooning (English) at the Municipal Level.
The school's success extended beyond journalism. In the Mind Olympiad, Joniela Selene T. Cantillana achieved 2nd Runner-Up in the Grade 3 category at the Municipal Level and 3rd Runner-Up at the District Level.
The learners' achievements were made possible through the dedication and guidance of their coaches: Lourdes D. Hornopia, Jane R. Maravilla, Marjorie R. Rumion, Mherwin R. Rance, Douvey R. Rey, and Donna R. Lotec.
The outstanding performance of the Cajidiocan CES learners reflects their hard work, determination, and commitment to excellence. Their success also highlights the strong support of their teachers, parents, and the entire school community.
