CaintaKEN is a partnership forged with the S K – KIDS
o The program aims to support the educational needs of the poor but deserving youth of our community.

CaintaKEN (Kids Educational Network) is an educational support and assistance programs for the less fortunate communities of Cainta particularly those residing in the depressed areas of the Holy Trinity Parish. CaintaKEN is a partnership forged with the Student Scholar, the child’s parents, the accredited school of the child, the program administrators (MOVERS/MOVEment) and the child’s sponsor. Ch

ildren in all levels (elementary to College) are targeted by this program. o We have formal Application for Scholarship and Selection Criteria (Refer to Attachment A). o The Student Scholar must ensure that he continues to do well in school. The Student Scholar can be currently studying in a public or private educational institution and could be enrolled in a formal or informal program. o The Parents should take responsibility for their child’s education by providing financial, emotional and spiritual support. The Parents need to continue to encourage the child to achieve his/her dreams. There is Undertaking that should be signed by Parents covering this commitment. E – Education
o The program provides educational support in the form of financial and non-financial assistance. Education, free from elementary to high school, can open more opportunities for liberation from poverty. But many Filipino families cannot afford even the other expenses that go with sending a child to a public school – the daily transport fare, materials for school projects, money for food and minor miscellaneous expenses. o Schools are accredited to ensure that the sponsored child remain in school and adheres to the requirements of the program. Accredited schools range from elementary to college and both public and private educational institutions. N – Network

o The basic difference of CaintaKEN and other similar program such as World Vision, is the opportunity for direct involvement and interaction of the sponsors with the Student Scholar. In CaintaKEN, the sponsors and program administrators, do not just write checks and provide financial assistance. Sponsors and program administrators can directly monitor the scholar’s progress via regular interviews and provide support in terms of guidance. Since the sponsors and program administrator live in the same community as the scholars, they have a chance to regularly meet during church and other community activities. Sponsors and their families also provide tutoring support to the kids. o MOVERS and Movement are the program initiators and managers. These groups volunteer their time, talent and resources to set-up the program objectives and mechanics. These groups provide the organizational backbone that manages and controls the resources of the program. They seek out sponsors and come up with activities to generate resources for the program. They help monitor the progress of each child and give updates to the sponsors. They also conduct values education sessions to Student Scholars and their Parents to ensure that they understand the objectives and their responsibilities under the program. o Sponsors provide the financial assistance in any amount to support a child through one of the programs of CaintaKEN. Sponsors are provided regular reports on how their sponsored child is doing. At their option, they can provide additional support to their sponsored child by letters of encouragement.

"How does one counter this messianic discourse in which Ferdinand Marcos Jr. seems to thrive? There is no other way, I believe, except by questioning his suitability for the role into which he is being cast. Unlike the messianic figures in history, this man has never known any real adversity. His own father despaired over his laziness and lack of discipline. As far as the public record goes, he grew up surrounded by nannies, servants, bodyguards, and private tutors.

Prior to joining the government, he never had to earn his keep. When he finally did, he neglected to pay taxes, as though this was beneath him. He has never been associated with any social cause, or with anything that transcends personal or family interests. He seems to have no affinity with heroism—whether real or invented. Absolutely nothing qualifies him then to be the bearer of a vision of greatness."

Bakit may Kahirapan? Bakit ang daming mahirap? Ang isa sa mga pangunahing dahilan ay ang korapsyon sa gobyerno. Ang mga serbisyo at supporta na kailangan ng taong bayan para ma-iangat ang sarili, ay napupunta sa iilang politiko at kawani ng gobyerno. P700 BILLION (opo billion) ang nawawala taon taon dahil sa korapsyon. Pera ng taong bayan. Galing sa buwis mo at sa pagod mo. Perang para sa iyo at para sa pamilya mo.

Kaya napakahalaga ng pagpili ng tamang kandidato lalo ng sa pagka Pangulo. Sasabihin mo, karamihan naman ng politiko ay corrupt. Marahil, ngunit lalong lumalala ang korapsyon pag ang Presidente mismo ang corrupt. Pag-isipan at pag-aralan mo kaibigan.
