Living a healthy lifestyle may seem complicated owing to numerous advertisements that give conflicting advice. However, living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t mean following a complicated list or plan. For optimum health, here are the five simple rules.
* Nourish with real foods - Eat unprocessed food akin to their natural forms. Combine a balanced diet made from eggs, fruits, seeds, nuts, meat, fish, healthy fats, high-fat dairy products and oils.
* Do not ingest toxics into your body - Avoid ingesting toxics such as abusive drugs, ci******es and alcohol. You can get addicted to one of this toxics and live a prone to disease life. Another toxics are addicting additives such as processed sugars that include high-fructose syrup and sucrose.
* Avoid too much stress - Excessive stress can lead to health disaster such as raised cortisol levels that can impair your metabolism. Stress can raise your cravings for junk foods, increase visceral fat and raise various diseases.
* Sleep well - A good sleep correlates with health body while sleep deprived body links with obesity and heart diseases. If you can’t sleep well, do these:
- Dim the lights and remove distractions such as a phone.
- Go to bed and wake up at similar times daily.
- Avoid coffee before going to bed.
- Sleep in darkness and no lighting.
* Move around and lift things - Lifting weights can lower insulin, cholesterol, triglycerides and blood sugar levels. Best exercises include lifting weights such as kettle ball, dumbbell and barbell while using bench press. You could jog in a nearby park and run for a half kilometre. These activities are good for your heart and keep your tummy fat free.
To succeed in these five rules, you need to stick with it for life. Like any other endeavours to succeed, following these rules should begin and stay consistent as part of your habit.
