As we commemorate 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗼𝗲𝘀 𝗱𝗮𝘆, let us pay tribute to the 𝒇𝒊𝒍𝒋𝒑𝒊𝒏𝒐 𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒐𝒆𝒔 whose 𝒃𝒓𝒂𝒗𝒆𝒓𝒚 and 𝒔𝒆𝒍𝒇𝒍𝒆𝒔𝒔 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆𝒔 paved the way for our nation's 𝗳𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺.

🇵🇭𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗢𝗬 𝗔𝗤𝗨𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗗𝗔𝗬

Today, we 𝐡𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐫 the life and 𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐜𝐲 of a Filipino 𝘀𝗲𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿, whose 𝒄𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒂𝒈𝒆 and 𝒔𝒂𝒄𝒓𝒊𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒆 became a symbol of the 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗽𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲'𝘀 fight for Dictatorship and Justice!

The assassination of Benigno Ninoy Aquino on August 21, 1983, became a turning point that 𝒊𝒏𝒔𝒑𝒊𝒓𝒆𝒅 the movement to 𝒓𝒆𝒔𝒕𝒐𝒓𝒆 𝐝𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲 in the 𝐏𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐩𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐬.

During Martial Law, Ninoy chose to not stay silent, and today is our turn to use our voice against 𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐮𝐩𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 and 𝒘𝒓𝒐𝒏𝒈𝒅𝒐𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒔. Let us show that 𝐟𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐝𝐨𝐦, 𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲, and 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐩𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐜𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐳𝐞𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 are values we continue to stand for everyday.
