Anong katanggap-tanggap na dahilan para hindi ka magsimba?
Traffic?
Masama ang gising?
Walang kasama?
O baka umuulan lang?
Sa totoo lang, kung titingnan natin sa Biblia, makikita natin na ang mga unang Kristyano ay hindi basta-basta nagpapaliban sa kanilang pagtitipon.

Hebrews 10:24–25:

> And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works:
Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching.

Noong panahon na isinulat ang Hebrews, ang mga Jewish Christians ay dumadaan sa matinding persecution. Marami sa kanila ang natatakot magtipon dahil sa banta sa kanilang buhay — pwedeng makulong, pahirapan, o patayin. Pero imbes na sabihan silang mag-ingat at umiwas, sinabi ng may-akda na "hold fast", magpatuloy sa pananampalataya, magtipon, at magpalakasan ng loob. Hindi nila tiningnan ang panganib bilang dahilan para huminto sa fellowship; bagkus, ginawa nila itong dahilan para lalo pang magkasama at mag-encourage sa isa’t isa.

Ngayon, ikumpara natin sa panahon natin — lalo na sa mga bansa na malaya tayong magtipon at sumamba. Wala namang banta ng kulungan o kamatayan, pero ang dami pa ring mabababaw na dahilan para hindi magsimba. Minsan dahil lang sa pagod, o may lakad, o simpleng “wala sa mood,” pinapabayaan na ang pananambahan. Kung ikukumpara, ang mga Kristyano noon ay nakataya ang kanilang buhay sa bawat pagtitipon, samantalang ngayon, madalas ay kaunting inconvenience lang ay sapat na para hindi dumalo.

Kaya ang paalala ng Hebrews ay timeless:
Huwag nating pabayaan ang pagtitipon. Hindi lang ito utos para mag-attend, kundi paanyaya para magpalakasan, magpukaw ng pag-ibig, at maghikayat sa mabubuting gawa. Sa bawat worship service, may pagkakataon tayong magtulungan sa pananampalataya at maghanda sa pagdating ng Panginoon — "and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching."

We have begun our study of Contemporary Theology. The purpose of this subject's series of lessons is to warn Christians about current theological trends that pose a significant threat to biblical, historical, and conservative Christianity. Our first topic was the 'Openness of God.'

We thank the Lord for this opportunity. This event helped our students enhance their theological learning and provided a chance to meet and fellowship with Bible school students from other institutions.

21st Commencement Exercise | June 27, 2025

All glory and praise be to our faithful God for a victorious graduation day!

This year, we rejoiced as one student completed the Bachelor of Arts in Theology, three completed Christian Education, seven from the Associate in Biblical Studies, and seven from the Basic Bible Course. Truly, the Lord has been gracious in raising laborers for His harvest.

Congratulations, dear graduates!
May you continue to walk in obedience, steadfast in the Word, and ever equipped to serve wherever the Lord may send you.
