From its humble beginnings of 20 students it has now grown to a population of 400-500 students offering quality Christian education from pre-school, elementary and high school levels. ls International since 1994. The Academy is located in a suburban area where the environment is conducive to the teaching and learning process. Throughout the years, the school has developed a child oriented development center where the individual’s sense of creativity, critical thinking and potential is fully harnessed and developed. The best of our students in elementary are able to enter the Philippine Science High School, a school geared for the gifted in science and math, which has a quite a rigid requirement system for qualification. The effective training of our students is not only in the academic field but equally outs focus and emphasis on Christian values. This enables our students to have discipline and right attitude towards life and achievement. Most of our graduates in high school are able to enter the leading universities and colleges such as the University of the Philippines, Ateneo, U.S.T. and La Salle. The Academy’s faculty have to take Masteral degrees in their particular field of discipline. The school likewise ensures that the teachers are continuously accorded developmental programs that help inn their spiritual, academic, social and cultural formation. The teachers attend a yearly convention given by the Association of Christian Schools International. Inn addition, most of our science and math teachers are given study grants to attend seminars conducted by the University of the Philippines for continuous growth and professional development as well as to master their craft. The academy’s purpose is to train and educate students in Christian environment of Faith, Love and Service to God and men. This prepares them to perform with excellence inn the tertiary and university levels and imbue in them a zeal to live for the glory of God. The Academy has been fulfilling this Mission for the past 25 years and will continue to provide quality education in Christian community as the primary purpose for its existence. School Objectives
To awaken and imbue in the child his Christian heritage: that God created him and all things around him; that God loves him and all things around him; that God loves him and has a wonderful plan for his life; and that by having a personal relationship with the Lord and savior Jesus Christ, he will experience God’s abundant plan for his life. To develop in the child, creativity and critical thinking by arousing his curiosity, encouraging him to ask questions by himself; and to equip the child with proper with the proper academic tools with which he can utilize his faculties to the fullest. To instill in the child a set of sound values that would help him put to use these faculties. Foremost among these are the values of LOVE for God, his family and fellowmen; FAITH, for it is the vital foundation of all other values; and INDUSTRY, for the love of work leads to achievement which the child further shares with others. To imbue in the child an awareness of his own cultural heritage as Filipino so as to enable him to seek for and maintain his identity as a Filipino, while becoming a citizen of the world.
