📢 Earthquake Drill at Mat-e Elementary School

Today, Mat-e Elementary School successfully conducted an earthquake drill in partnership with our dedicated barangay officials. 🏫🤝

The activity aimed to strengthen disaster preparedness among our pupils, teachers, and staff. With the guidance of our barangay leaders, everyone practiced the proper duck, cover, and hold technique, followed by safe evacuation procedures. 🚨👷‍♂️

We are grateful to our barangay officials for their support and commitment to ensuring the safety of our community. Together, we continue to build a culture of readiness and resilience. 💪🌍

Mat-e Elementary School pupils, including Princess Fame Ladion, Daphney Carillo, Jomarie Sales, and Jennifer Gato, recently took part in the Surigao del Sur Division - Girls Scout of the Philippines "26th Provincial Camp, Get Together Again: Girls Reunion and Gratitude Camp", held on April 6 - 9, 2024 in San Miguel, Surigao del Sur. They were led by the school's GSP Coordinator and Adult Leader, Ma'am Anie Amor D. Cavite, T-III. A wonderful experience for all involved!

Mat-e Elementary School successfully conducted a Fire Drill and Fire Safety Awareness program, in collaboration with the Bureau of Fire Protection - Cagwait Fire Station. The session was facilitated by the knowledgeable resource person FO2 Richard R. Logronio, with the valuable assistance of the NEMSU Criminology Interns. This initiative aimed to educate and prepare students and staff for fire emergencies, emphasizing the importance of fire safety practices. Through such proactive measures, the school is ensuring a safer environment for everyone.
