Inspire, teach, and motivate street children towards a brighter future. The target group is between ages 5-12.

Street children are regularly riled up by the social welfare office and brought back to their youth homes or detention centres. Many of these children in Cagayan de Oro, Philippines (CDO) will often escape and return back to the streets. They eventually are left neglected and once of age end up in the drug or prostitution industry. ROW is an opportunity for the community to build trust with the st

Pre-Test Session
This is a special session where we conduct a pre-test to the streetkids within the divisoria area. We brought them inside the XU Campus in order for us to achieve our objectives smoothly. Only a number of 13 kids who were able to take the test from ages 9-18 (A number of them are currently attending school) participated. This session's objective is to indicate the child's knowledge through a reading comprehension type of test so that for the next 8 months of this year's Reading on wheels, we can help these kids improve.
Another way to Inspire, teach, and motivate children towards a brighter future.

Thank you Volunteers from the International Studies community and Officers of Ateneo Diplomatic Corps specifically the House of Social Ourtreach and Networking for a succesful project even though the weather is not cooperating (most of the time). Thank you also for the snacks and new storybooks that we received as your donation for these kids. 😊

AMDG God Bless you All ❀
