This election serves as an important opportunity for the students of the College of Education to choose a Vice President who will represent their voices, uphold student welfare, and contribute to a student-centered, transparent, and accountable student council.

A new chapter begins for the Union of Student Educators โ€“ CDO Collective.

Following the collective election held on August 12 2026, the first-ever set of officers and Board Directors of USE-CDO has officially been established for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

More than an election, this marks the beginning of a shared commitment among student educators across Cagayan de Oro City to lead, collaborate, and create meaningful opportunities beyond their respective institutions.

The first leaders of the Collective have been chosen. Now, the work of building its legacy begins.

The College of Education Student Council (COESC) proudly recognizes the representation of the City College of Cagayan de Oro โ€“ College of Education Student Council President in the Union of Student Educators โ€“ CDO Collective (USE-CDO) for Academic Year 2026โ€“2027.

As provided in the USE-CDO Collective Constitution and By-Laws (CBL) under the Executive Division, the Presidents of the member student councils form part of the Board of Presidents of the USE-CDO Collective by virtue of their respective offices.

Thus, the President of the City College of CDO โ€“ College of Education Student Council automatically serves as part of the USE-CDO Board of Presidents, representing the voice and interests of the City College of CDO - College of Education within the collective.

This representation strengthens the connection between our council and other teacher education student councils across Cagayan de Oro City, providing an avenue for collaboration, coordination, and collective action toward initiatives that benefit student educators.

Together with our appointed board directors, the participation of the COESC President in the Executive Division reflects our commitment to meaningful inter-school collaboration and stronger student leadership.

On August 12, the USE-CDO Collective convened online to elect its new set of officers and appoint Board Directors from each participating school. Six college councilsโ€”XU, CU, USTP, SPC, City College, and Lourdes Collegeโ€”also presented their General Plans of Action and identified opportunities for inter-school collaboration.
