Congratulations to our Newly Licensed Professional Teachers!

Xavier University – School of Education proudly recognizes and commends the exemplary performance of its graduates in the September and November 2025 Licensure Examination for Teachers (LET).

At the Elementary Level, the University achieved a 100% passing rate among first-time takers , an overall performance of 91.30%, and the national passing rate of 51.04%.

At the Secondary Level, first-time takers recorded a 97.73% passing rate, with an overall performance of 89.80%, and the national passing rate 72.62%.

These results reflect the commitment to academic excellence, professional formation, and service that define Xavier University. We extend our sincere congratulations to our new Licensed Professional Teachers as they begin their vocation of shaping minds and transforming lives.

Congratulations, SOE English Majors, for completing the AC MOOC Camp!

The MOOC through Coursera featured three focused sessions: “Small Talk & Conversational Vocabulary,” “Express Yourself: Pronunciation,” and “Organize Your Pitch.” These modules were designed to enhance participants’ English language proficiency while building confidence and leadership skills essential in academic and professional contexts.

The program was led by SOE Assistant Professor and Fulbright FLTA alum Mr Anito Librando Jr, together with Dr Edralin Manla, Dean of the School of Education and an IVLP alum the USG program speaker.

The 2025 Stakeholders Convergence stands as more than an event—it is a collective declaration of hope, trust, and shared dedication to every Kagay-anon child. Through the steadfast support of government agencies, private institutions, and civil society organizations, the foundations of the local education system continue to be strengthened. Behind every partnership is a child whose future becomes brighter, a teacher empowered with new tools, and a community inspired to dream bigger.

Held on November 26, 2025, the Stakeholders’ Convergence 2025, with the theme “Strengthening Partnership for Sustainable Development,” honored and celebrated the invaluable contributions of DepEd partners whose commitment has played a vital role in advancing sustainable and quality education.

During the ceremony, Xavier University – Ateneo de Cagayan was recognized by the Department of Education Schools Division Office of Cagayan de Oro City for its continued support to education and community development initiatives. Mr. Ismael B. Salarda, Director of the Arrupe Educational Center of the Xavier University-School of Education, received the plaque of recognition on behalf of the University.
