Safety is our number one priority. Early reaction is very important during this times. Our teachers and staff at Lulu Grace Child Care Center is currently in its day one in disinfecting the whole facility including the toys and linens. We will also make some guidelines for our daycare and enrichment students upon their return. We apologize for this inconvenience. But this is necessary to create a clean and healthy environment for your children.

Do not forget to wash your hands. 😊 Our services will resume next week. We are temporary close for March 13th and March 14th. We will resume until further noticed.

Due to the threat of COVID-19, Lulu Grace Child Care Center daycare and enrichment classes are cancelled today March 13, 2020 up to March 14, 2020. We are disinfecting the entire school campus today as a precautionary measure. We want to provide a much safer heaven for your children. Our services will return next week until futher noticed.

The color tablet box is one of the sensorial material here at Lulu Grace. This material provides children an activity that will introduce them to the world of color. The activity we introduce to them involves finding a copy of the color tablet which helps them discriminate color.

Children do not need to know the color name immediately at this point, the most important thing is they understand the activity in determining the same color objects being presented to them. After which, you can then introduce to them the colors name.

Human interactions that encourages speaking, social interactions and conversations, and play are vital in a child’s developing thinking, problem solving and other executive skills. Continually engaging in parent and child activities such as reading, singing, making art, and even going outdoors reinforces and organizes the connections in their brain.

If you want to properly introduce technology medium to your child, here are some guidelines you might find useful.

Avoid the use of screen media other than video-chatting for less than 18 months. Choose high-quality programming if parents want to introduce media to children 18 to 24 months.

Limit screen use to (1) one hour per day of high-quality programs for children ages 2 to 5. Watch it with your child to help them understand what they’re seeing.

The kids had been practicing rolling and unrolling their working mats. This activity enhances coordination and focus. It also promotes their independence and social adaptation.
