Our Head Facilitator, Ismael Tala-o, warmly welcomes the Liceo de Cagayan University Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy students for their exposure experience at our center and with our clients.

As OT students, we’re learning every day how meaningful occupations can change lives from helping someone regain independence to supporting others in doing what they love most. Through our studies, fieldwork, and small acts of care, we’re reminded that OT is more than just a profession. It’s a calling to make everyday life possible for everyone. 💪

Two patients and two sessions completed — that’s how the 3rd year OT students capped off their very first clinical exposure last September 25. 🌟

The day gave them the chance to apply their knowledge, work with different clients, and experience what it means to step into real therapy practice. Truly a milestone to remember! 💙

𝐀 𝐃𝐚𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐩𝐢𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧🌟

Our 3rd year Occupational Therapy students took their first step into clinical practice during their fieldwork exposure last September 18! With the expert guidance of Mrs. Dina Perez, PTRP, Ms. Christine Barcoma, OTRP, Ms. Kimberly Boncales, OTRP, and our hardworking PT interns.

This experience marks the beginning of many more meaningful encounters in the journey of becoming future OT professionals. Thank you to our mentors for lighting the path forward! 💙👐

We couldn’t be more proud of our Occupational Therapy interns making meaningful strides in their Cebu rotation. Assigned across Chong Hua Hospital in Fuente Osmeña, Sisters of the Sacred Hearts of Jesus and Mary SPED Learning Center and PT OT Rehabilitation and Wellness Center, and Safehaven Addiction Treatment and Recovery Village, they continue to provide compassionate and client-centered care every day.✨

Your passion, resilience, and empathy are truly transforming lives. 𝐊𝐞𝐞𝐩 𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠, 𝐟𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐎𝐓𝐬! 🙌🏻💙
