MAYOR ROLANDO “KLAREX” UY HAS ORDERED THE SUSPENSION OF WORK IN ALL GOVERNMENT OFFICES WITHIN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY, EFFECTIVE 12:00 NOON TODAY, FEBRUARY 5, UNTIL THE WHOLE DAY OF FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 6, 2026. | via Jade Adeser/CIO

•For the tertiary level: Suspension will be at the discretion of their respective School Heads.
•For government offices: Work is suspended except for essential offices and departments.
•For private sector: Work suspension is based on the sound wisdom and discretion of their employer.

HELLO, TFVIANS!

Due to Tropical Depression Basyang, Klarex Uy has issued an Executive Order suspending classes on Thursday and Friday, February 5–6, 2026.

In line with this, and as allowed under the Executive Order, the Administration has decided to shift to online classes so that our students’ learning will continue without disruption. Students are expected to attend their online classes during this period.

Regular face-to-face classes will resume on Monday, February 9, 2026.

Please be guided accordingly.

As we all navigate this weather situation, we continue to pray for everyone’s safety. Stay dry and alert, make sure your power banks are charged, keep your go-bags ready, and take all necessary precautions.

Let us hold on to this reminder from the Bible:
“The Lord will keep you from all harm—He will watch over your life.” -Psalm 121:7
