A meaningful milestone was marked today as two programs under the 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐒𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 in 𝐓𝐚𝐠𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐚𝐧 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐞 came together for the first-ever collaborative outreach program of the 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐠𝐮𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 (𝐋𝐒𝐒) and 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐒𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐀𝐟𝐟𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐬 (𝐂𝐎𝐃𝐄𝐒𝐀).

With the theme“𝐆𝐚𝐬𝐚 𝐦𝐨, 𝐏𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐮𝐡𝐢 𝐤𝐨: 𝐏𝐚𝐠𝐥𝐚𝐮𝐦 𝐬𝐚 𝐌𝐚𝐬 𝐌𝐚𝐚𝐲𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐮𝐠𝐦𝐚𝐨𝐧,”

Guided and supported by 𝐌𝐬. 𝐊𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐲, Sociology Program Head and 𝐌𝐬. 𝐃𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐧, Community Development Program Head. This joint initiative aimed to strengthen community engagement, social awareness, and service-learning among students while fostering genuine connections with the residents of 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐭.

The activity was successfully led by 𝐆𝐢𝐥𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐜𝐨𝐧, LSS Chairperson, and 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐧𝐬𝐭𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐤𝐚𝐝𝐚𝐧𝐠, CODESA Vice Chairperson, together with the active participation and dedication of the rest of the officers from both organizations, whose dedication and teamwork ensured the smooth flow and meaningful ex*****on of the program. The activity was further strengthened by the invaluable assistance of the 𝟒𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐞𝐚𝐫 𝐬𝐭𝐮𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 from both programs, who ensured the smooth flow and meaningful ex*****on of all activities.

The warm cooperation and participation of the 𝐁𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐥𝐨𝐭 𝐫𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬 greatly contributed to the success of the outreach, fostering genuine community engagement and mutual learning. The event was also witnessed through the viewing and observation of the 𝐓𝐂𝐂 𝐐𝐮𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐏𝐮𝐛𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧, emphasizing the importance of documentation, transparency, and student journalism in community-based initiatives.
