The program also highlighted the recognition of outstanding performances from the various events, namely the Research Colloquium, Mini Kumbira, ABM Bazaar, and the Robotech Expo.

Liceo de Cagayan University Senior High School marked another milestone in research excellence after earning multiple top awards at the 8th Josenian Senior High School Research Summit 2026, held virtually on February 18.

Competing against young researchers from across the country, Licean students showcased innovative and socially responsive studies in sustainability, agricultural technology, and digital systems.

Among the standout achievers were Lourdes Marielle E. Ermino and Zypher Miguel G. Maghinay, who both secured Exemplary Research Achievement (Best Paper) and Best Oral Presenter awards in their respective partnerships, while Allen Santino L. Macarandan was recognized for Outstanding Research Topic.

Behind these achievements is the steadfast guidance of the research advisers, subject teachers, and the SHS administration, whose mentorship, rigorous training, and unwavering support helped refine the students’ studies and presentations. Their commitment to fostering a strong research culture continues to empower Liceans to excel beyond the classroom.

The university’s strong showing underscores its continued dedication to cultivating research-driven, solution-oriented learners, proving once again that Licean innovation is making its mark on the national stage.

Liceo de Cagayan University Senior High School The Titans campus journalists delivered a resounding performance on the national stage after sweeping major awards at Explained PH’s 2025 National Campus Press Summit (NCPS), held from November 29 to December 4.

Leading the triumph were The Sentinel’s English and Filipino Television Broadcasting (TVB) teams, which topped the TV Newscast category and earned multiple individual and special citations, firmly establishing Liceo U as a rising force in campus broadcast journalism nationwide.

These achievements would not be possible without the unwavering support of the SHS administration, journalism coaches, and students.
