The XU-CONUS Grievance Committee provides a proper process for handling concerns involving Council officers, members, activities, projects, and services.

✨ Here’s how it works:

📩 FILE your grievance through the proper channel�🔍 REVIEW the concern and determine the appropriate action�📢 NOTIFY the respondent of the allegations�📝 RESPOND and present your side�🔎 INVESTIGATE the facts and relevant evidence�⚖️ DELIBERATE fairly and impartially�📄 DECIDE based on the applicable rules and evidence�🔄 APPEAL when permitted

And remember:

A complaint is not a verdict.�Everyone deserves the opportunity to be heard. 🤝

Always remember to:

On this day, we pause to remember 𝗕𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗼 "𝗡𝗶𝗻𝗼𝘆" 𝗔𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗼 𝗝𝗿. a man who chose to come home knowing the risks, because he believed his country was worth the sacrifice.

His assassination in 𝟭𝟵𝟴𝟯 became a turning point in our nation's history, sparking a peaceful revolution that would later restore democracy to the Philippines. Through it all, his words continue to echo across generations: "The Filipino is worth dying for."

May his courage and love for our country remind all of us to choose what is right, even when it isn't easy. 💐

To simply put it, it just means being honest with your own work and also being able to acknowledge others' work. By acknowledging other people's work, it means giving the proper credit and respecting intellectual property. However, academic integrity is not simply just about avoiding plagiarism, it is also about building a culture of honesty and responsibility from both the students and educators.

🤖 𝙋𝙡𝙖𝙜𝙞𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙢 𝙙𝙞𝙙𝙣’𝙩 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙚𝙭𝙞𝙨𝙩 𝙞𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙚𝙧𝙖 𝙤𝙛𝙛 𝙖𝙧𝙩𝙞𝙛𝙞𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙡𝙡𝙞𝙜𝙚𝙣𝙘𝙚

Plagiarism didn’t just exist in the era of artificial intelligence, it has existed long before you could prompt on google. Practices such as contract cheating and ghostwriting were the most common form of plagiarism before.

Then came our best friend ✨Generative Al ✨

Using Al is alright but with the right means of using it as an academic tool, not as a substitute to our own brains. We should use it to support our leanings, and not replace it with our own thinking. When getting information from the tool, we must always fact check before using the info we’ve acquired. Don’t just present Al generated work as your own, we must also give appropriate acknowledgment when required. To make it even a safer tool, we must also follow our instructors’ policies regarding the use of Al.

Honesty in one’s works means taking the lead of your own learning-even in an age where Al can do all the work for you.
