Philippine Southfield Strengthens School Safety Through PROJECT SHIELD
August 20, 2026, the Philippine Southfield School Guidance Office, in collaboration with the Philippine National Police – Puerto CDO Station, conducted PROJECT SHIELD: School Hazard Information, Emergency Leadership, and Defense, a symposium centered on school safety, threat awareness, and emergency preparedness.
The activity provided students and members of the school community with practical knowledge on staying alert, responding appropriately, and being prepared in the face of potential emergencies and safety concerns.
Beyond individual preparedness, PROJECT SHIELD underscored one important message: school safety is a shared responsibility. Through collective action, cooperation, and awareness, every member of the community can contribute to creating a safer environment.
The activity serves as another step toward strengthening a culture of preparedness and responsibility within Southfield.
