On August 20, 2026, representatives from Liceo de Cagayan University, including the Peace Corps President, VP-External, G12-HUMSS Representative, and G11-Overall Representative, attended the Global Youth Summit (GYS) 2026 at SM CDO Downtown.

The summit gave the Liceans who joined an opportunity to learn beyond the classroom. It was a kind of learning because we got to hear from people, with different backgrounds and ideas. It also showed us that being young does not mean we are too young to have an impact.

Sometimes it can begin with something asking a question, speaking out, sharing an idea, or even just spending time to listen.

The event may have finished. The lessons we gained and the talks we had are things we can still keep with us.
