At dahil natapos na ang Kaon Ta, Kat-On ta Isla Cupa! mayroon tayong ๐ต๐ฒ๐ถ๐ช๐ท๐ฐ ๐น๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ด ๐๐ฒ๐ฝ๐ฑ ๐ผ๐ธ๐ฏ๐ฝ ๐ถ๐ธ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ผ!
After 3 months of data gathering, livelihood training, and nutrition education and food demonstration, ND3 students conducted their culminating activity last March 28, 2026. It was an experience full of lessons that opened our eyes to the different realities concerning nutrition for different ages of life.
It was truly unforgettable, packed with meaningful discussions led by the students and the food demonstrations that the participants enjoyed, plus rich insights from our lolos, lolas, and titas in Isla Cupa that taught us as much as we shared. This journey opened our eyes to real-life nutrition challenges across all ages, from kids to seniors, while promoting sustainable living through the 3Rs.
Salamat sa bawat isa sa pagiging parte ng transformation na itoโsama-sama, magpapatuloy ang pagmamahal sa tamus na nutrisyon at masayang, malusog na buhay para sa komunidad! ๐ฟ๐

Before we end our Pulong-pulong sa Isla Cupa, let's look back to the very first session with our titas in Isla Cupa. ๐๐๐ฉ๐๐ซ ๐๐ก๐๐ซ๐๐จ๐๐ฅ ๐ฆ๐๐ค๐ข๐ง๐ was introduced to the community last February 4, 2026. The titas were participative and continued the practice even after the session. Not only are we helping the environment by finding use for scratch papers and paper bags but we are also finding an alternative approach to cooking aside from wood and gas.
Aside from staying healthy, let's also help our environment by practicing the 3Rs in our day-to-day lives. Sama-sama, gawin nating habit ang reduce, reuse, recycle para sa mas berdeng Isla Cupa!

Kasi hawak na ng third year ND students after delivering their final session for ๐๐๐ค๐ฃ ๐ฉ๐, ๐๐๐ฉ-๐ค๐ฃ ๐๐ ๐๐จ๐ก๐ ๐พ๐ช๐ฅ๐! with a session on Nutrition on Elderly Care with the discussion led by Clara Margarette Cuansing and Franchette Napinas, while Angel Lagahit, Jewel Marie Flores, and Erika Lariba led the food demonstration with Kalabasa Maja and Coconut Sapal Patty.
It was a fruitful discussion with meaningful insights not just from the instructors but also from the participants themselves. This session was not just for our lolos and lolas, but the students learned from the participants' own experiences too.
Thank you for the lessons and stories that brought the session to lifeโmay it be an inspiration for a healthier future for all of us! To more KTKTIC sessions, ano tara?

From meaningful discussions to fun-filled moments, Pakigdasig 2026 was truly a productive and energizing gathering! ๐โก
As the organization powered through important recaps and evaluation for Foundation Days, financial reports, and shared quick updates as we approach the end of the school year. But of course, it wouldnโt be Pakigdasig without laughter and excitement through our icebreakers โ โSnatch the Wigโ and a thrilling โSpelling Bee with a Twist!โ ๐ค๐
The energy didnโt stop there as the organization also started planning for the annual Year-End Party, something everyone can look forward to as we celebrate the memories, milestones, and teamwork we built throughout the year.
Together, NDSA was able to power up, collaborate, and move forward as one team with one goal. ๐ซ

Following the session of Go, Grow and Glow Foods for children, third year Nutrition and Dietetics student conducted the second session for KTKTIC tackling about Pinggang Pinoy, and Maternal and Adult Nutrition. Erjean Resomadero and Faith Escote led the nutrition education and discussion, while Mikay Aguillon and Sweet Aubrey Mae Tagaylo were on the food demonstration with spinach lumpia, squash balls, and malunggay juice.
The discussion was informative and interactive where the mothers and lolas from Isla Cupa had the chance to share there own experiences in preparing low cost foods for when they were pregnant and even after.

Our third year Nutrition and Dietetics student conducted the first session for ๐๐๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐, ๐๐๐ญ-๐จ๐ง ๐ญ๐ ๐๐ฌ๐ฅ๐ ๐๐ฎ๐ฉ๐! last March 7 to the children of Isla Cupa. Axel Hadman and Ayne Macarampat led the nutrition education on Pinggang Pinoy and Go, Grow, Glow foods with Andrea Quitorio and Keith Florita leading the food demonstration with Banana Fritters, Savory Pancake, and Malunggay Juice.
The kids loved every bite and lesson, sparking healthier habits one fun activity at a time! Stay tuned for the next session, ka-endy!
