‎As announced by the Cagayan de Oro Information Office, all public schools — including Balulang Elementary School — will have class suspensions starting October 13.

In place of face-to-face sessions, learners are advised to shift to distance learning modalities.

While awaiting further updates, let us take this time to rest, reflect, and pray for the safety and well-being of everyone affected by the recent incidents.

Proclamation No. 927 by the President of the Philippines declared Monday, June 16, 2025 as a Special Non-Working Day in Cagayan de Oro City. This proclamation is in line with the celebration of the city’s Charter Day on June 15.

There will be no classes and office transactions at Balulang Elementary School on this day.

Classes will begin on Tuesday, June 17, 2025.
