The workshop provided a meaningful avenue to deepen understanding, strengthen implementation, and enhance school governance practices through collaborative and participatory approaches.

August 20, 2026 | Pigsag-an NHS extends its heartfelt appreciation to JCI Cagayan de Oro Inc. for conducting a meaningful Leadership Training for our teachers centered on “Quiet Leadership: Leading From Where You Already Are.”

The session was led by our Resource Speaker and Main Facilitator, Coach Alvin “Aben” Garlan, together with Assistant Facilitator, Sir Steven Rey Buray, and the JCI Cagayan de Oro Inc. Local Organization President, Sir Ronald Moreno.

The training provided our teachers with a meaningful space to Pause. See. Move.—to express themselves, reflect on their profession, reconnect with their purpose, and recognize the value of leading from wherever they are.

We sincerely thank JCI Cagayan de Oro Inc. and the facilitators for inspiring our teachers to embrace a kind of leadership that is intentional, reflective, authentic, and impactful.

August 20, 2026 | Pigsag-an NHS recognizes the participation of our SSLG President and Student Leader, Emerald Kate D. Ludhayan, in the 14th Global Youth Summit (GYS) held on August 20, 2026, at SM CDO Downtown Event Hall.

Organized by the Global Peace Foundation Philippines in partnership with DepEd SDO Cagayan de Oro City, the summit brought together young leaders to promote peace, leadership, collaboration, and meaningful youth participation.
