Participants gained competence in selecting appropriate mixed methods designs, developing purpose statements and mixed methods research questions, constructing procedural diagrams, and applying best practices in scholarly mixed methods writing. Participants were guided to systematically evaluate statistical assumptions such as normality, homogeneity of variance, linearity, and independence using diagnostic tests (e.g., Shapiroโ€“Wilk, Leveneโ€™s Test), and make informed decisions in choosing between parametric and nonparametric techniques . Participants were able to differentiate and appropriately apply key statistical tests, including t-tests, one-way ANOVA, correlation (Pearson and Spearman), and regression models, while identifying suitable post hoc procedures and interpreting omnibus results with rigor . Furthermore, they developed the ability to address violations of statistical assumptions by employing robust alternatives such as nonparametric tests and quantile regression, ensuring validity and reliability of findings . Ultimately, participants was able to construct sound statistical decision pathways, interpret effect sizes, and report results in accordance with academic and publication standards, strengthening their roles as research teachers, advisers, and panelists in guiding high-quality empirical research.
