The Prophet ﷺ said, “Everyone from my Ummah will be forgiven except those who publicise their sins” (Bukhārī).

Openly sinning not only shows your contempt for the dīn, but encourages others to sin too. Do you want to be carrying the burden of other people’s sins? What is even more lethal is the ever-increasing number of ‘Muslims’ who try to ‘justify’ or make ‘ḥalāl’ what Allah (ʿazza wa jall) has clearly made ḥarām.

Solution: Do not share any of your sins (however ‘minor’ they may be) in public and on social media. Instead keep your sins secret between you and Allah as far as possible and ask Allah al-Ghafūr (The Most Forgiving) to forgive you. If you have already shared sins on social media, go through your account and delete them immediately. Never ever justify committing a sin; admit your weakness and ask Allah to forgive you.

⛔𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐜 𝐒𝐭𝐞𝐩𝐬 𝐭𝐨 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠⛔

‎Imām Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله (d. 751H) mentions regarding the steps Shayṭān leads
an individual to sin:

‎“𝗔 𝗪𝗵𝗶𝗺, if it is not suppressed it becomes ⬇️

‎𝗔𝗻 𝗜𝗱𝗲𝗮, if it is not suppressed it becomes ⬇️

𝗔 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗿𝗲, if it is not suppressed it becomes ⬇️

𝗔 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲, if it is not suppressed it becomes ⬇️

𝗔𝗻 𝗔𝗰𝘁, if it is not suppressed it becomes ⬇️

𝗔 𝗛𝗮𝗯𝗶𝘁, then it becomes difficult to leave it and quit it.”

‎Mālik Ibn Anas رحمه الله said:

‎“Whoever wishes for an opening to be made in his heart, and safety from the calamities of death

‎and the horrors of the Day of Judgement,

‎then let his actions in private be more than his actions in public!”

‎[Tartīb Al-Madārik: 2/51]

Allah Has Set a Measure for All Things:

No matter how intelligent we get, we will never be able to perceive the endless capacity of Allah’s Will!

“And He (Allah) will provide him from (sources) he never could imagine. And whosoever puts his trust in Allah, then He will suffice him. Verily, Allah will accomplish his purpose. Indeed, Allah has set a measure for all things.”

- Surah Talaq, ayah 3

Let’s take a closer look at the last two sentences, where Allah tells us He will ‘accomplish His purpose’ and has a ‘measure for all things’, is a reminder that our provision is already written.

So, everything thing is this Dunia has already been decreed! The real success, thus, is to actually pass the test either by being grateful for the successes or by being patient and content when faced with failures.

Surely there we have our own plans that we want to accomplish, but ultimately it can never succeed if Allah did not will it.

Allah has a purpose that supersedes all our plans. In other words, whatever you are facing in life, it is in fact a fulfillment of a plan – ‘the accomplishment of a purpose ‘– specially designed and tailored for each and every individual.

3 Things the Prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم advised to never give up:

1. To fast 3 days of every month
2. To pray Salatud Duha
3. To pray Witr before going to sleep

Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him) said:
My close friend (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him) advised me to do three things which I will never give up until I die:
to fast three days of every month, to pray Duha, and to pray Witr before going to sleep.

Al-Bukhari (1178) and Muslim (721)

- Fasting 3 days each month

He “saw” used to fast the 13th, 14th and 15th of every lunar month. In Arabic, these days are called Al-Ayyam al-Bid, which literally means ‘the white days.

On the authority of ’Abdul-Malik ibn Qudamah ibn Milhan (ra) that his father (ra) said, ‘The Messenger of Allah (saw) used to command us to fast the (three) days with the bright nights (al-Ayyam al-Bid), the 13th, 14th and 15th [of every lunar month]’. [Nasa’i]


- Praying Duha Wipes sins, and avoids harm!

“Whoever gets used to the Dhuha prayer, his sins will be forgiven even if it is as much as the foam in the ocean.” (HR At-Tirmidhi and Ibn Majah).

“Whoever prays Duha two rak’ahs, then he is not written as a negligent person. Whoever does it as much as four rak’ahs, it is written as a person who is an expert in worship. Whoever does it six cycles will be saved on that day. Whoever does it eight rak’ahs, Allah will write him as an obedient person. And whoever does it twelve cycles, Allah will build a house in Paradise for him.” (HR. At-Thabrani).

- Praying Witr
Witr Prayer Is More Valuable compared to the Most Valuable Treasure, it is Is Among the Most Important Sunnah Prayers.

Allah Likes Those That Do the Witr Prayer. The Witr Prayer Is a Completion of the Evening Prayer. Witr Prayer Seen by the Angels.

‘Abdullah bin ‘Umar narrated that the Prophet said, “Make your last prayer at night.”

Aisha narrated that the Prophet used to offer his night prayer while I was sleeping across in his bed. Whenever he intended to offer the Witr prayer, he used to wake me up and I would offer the Witr prayer too.
